Canon g12 M mode, the picture is very dark. Only half-pressing the shutter button can get normal light. Then I take a photo, and it is very dark. How can I adjust the picture to normal under normal light?

The M mode is a fully manual mode. It exposes exactly according to the exposure value (aperture, shutter, ISO) you set. Whether the photo is dark or bright is all set by you. As a result, if you don’t have certain photography experience, why use M file? The G12 has a wealth of automatic or semi-automatic modes to use. It is recommended that novices use P mode (programmed automatic) or A mode (aperture priority) first, and S mode (shutter priority) for shooting moving objects. After accumulating a certain amount of experience, use the M file. (Even photographers don’t always use M mode)

If you must use M mode, please refer to the exposure indicator bar displayed on the camera. If it shows underexposure, increase the aperture or Lower the shutter speed until the exposure indicator reaches "0" in the middle. You can get a normal exposure (of course, just what the camera thinks is a normal exposure).
