The 33rd Daming Lake Lotus Art Festival will be held from July 15 to August 14

The lotus in Daming Lake in Shandong was once a business card of Mingfu City, and it is still the beautiful scenery of Daming Lake in summer. July happens to be the time when the lotus flowers are in full bloom there. The blooming lotus brings joy to the lakeside there, and also brings more exciting content to Daming Lake. This year’s exhibition will be themed on the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, highlighting the red theme. This exhibition has 18 groups of lotus scenes, more than 1,500 pots of lotus, more than 100 varieties of lotus, more than 600 pots of aquatic plants, and more than 60,000 pots of grass and flowers.

From 2010 to 2010, the current Lotus Art Festival was divided into five parts in terms of environmental layout: the large lake lotus field, small landscapes, lotus varieties, bowl lotus display, and popular science knowledge exhibition. Among them, self-owned varieties such as Huming Red Lotus, Huming White Lotus, Huming Chongtai Lotus, Huming Lianbi, etc. are distributed in 18 lotus fields, totaling more than 100 acres.

There are 10 groups of large, medium and small lotus landscapes in Chaoranlou Square, East Gate Square, East Gate Square and Southwest Gate Square in the Daming Lake Scenic Area, using more than 1,500 pots of lotus and about 35,000 pots of grass flowers.

The Piano Square is a display area for lotus varieties, with more than 200 pots of 100 selected lotus varieties. The charm of lotus varieties is highlighted by the natural way in which lotus varieties intersperse large and small scenes. The Bonsai Stone Museum displays 50 potted lotus works in the form of small scenes. Set up a popular science knowledge exhibition on the natural stage to display relevant Dutch popular science knowledge in the form of small scenes. The exhibition boards are integrated with the small scenes, and the form is lively.

In Huming Scenic Area, various lotus products are displayed in various teahouses and important nodes. There are lotus seed tea, lotus seeds, lotus leaves, lotus root powder, etc. There is also a lotus delicacy feast, using lotus leaves, lotus leaves, lotus roots and other ingredients.
