The historical significance of Ali Mali

I heard that Ali Mali's apples are the best in Yili before, but later I learned that "Ali Mali" means apple. Only by turning to history can we know that Ali Mali is an ancient apple city. Nowadays, although it is difficult to find ancient traces in the ancient city, the apples here are still sweet and Ali Mali has always been remembered by people.

Luke Tamerlane is the seventh grandson of Genghis Khan, the legendary king of Mongolian Khan in Chagatai. 1363, Tuhuluk Tamerlane, who was only 33 years old, died in Kashgar, Xinjiang on his way back to Central Asia. Later, his wife supervised the construction of the dome mausoleum for him. This is a mausoleum with Islamic architectural style, which is tall, majestic and magnificent. The whole building is15m long,10.7m wide and13m high. The lower part of the mausoleum is a cuboid sleeping room, surrounded by small doors, and the top is the attic and rooftop, which can be directly reached from the hidden ladder next to it. The whole mausoleum wall is based on blue glass, and white and brown glass are matched into 26 geometric patterns. The whole building reflects bright blue light in the sun.

History created Ali Muli, the capital of Chahetai khanate in Yuan Dynasty, and time also destroyed Ali Muli. Tuhuluke Tamerlane Mazha is the only existing ancient building with Islamic style in Yuan Dynasty in Xinjiang, and it is also the only site that witnessed the ancient city of Ali Muli. According to historical records, at the beginning of13rd century, after Genghis Khan took the lead, from 12 19 to 1260, he made three large-scale expeditions to the west in more than 40 years, and finally established a huge empire. 1225, Genghis Khan sealed a large area of land that conquered western Liao and Central Asia to his second son, Chahetai, with its capital in Ali Muli City. Political unity brought about the prosperity of Ali Mali. When Ansar Madiri, the Khanate of Chagatai, was in power, he strongly encouraged foreign businessmen to come to do business, making it gradually become a commercial center, which was called "the paradise of Central Asia" by the west.

Years of wars and floods by Mongolian kings in the northwest of Yuan Dynasty forced the local people to leave this city, which was surrounded by mountains and rivers, and the ancient city was gradually deserted and abandoned. Many people think that war destroyed civilization. With the passage of time, the once prosperous Ali Mali City has disappeared in the long river of history, except for a huge mausoleum-Tuhuluk Tamerlane Mazar.
