Because the ancients felt lonely and sad on the wall, they slowly imagined that men and women could not embrace each other on the wall outside the city, so they slowly linked apricot flowers with women leaving the wall.

The last apricot blossom is famous because after Yang Guifei was forced to hang herself in Yang Yuhuan in the Tang Dynasty, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty couldn't let go of the beauty for a long time, so he sent someone to look for Yang Guifei's remains, but after he went, he found that there were only a lot of apricot blossoms. Because of the feeling that apricot flowers are white and red, people gradually associate apricot flowers with the beauty of Yang Guifei. Later, Yang Guifei was also honored as the goddess of apricot blossom in February.

Later, people gradually thought that apricot trees were women, and even Li Yu of the Qing Dynasty thought that apricot trees were romantic trees. The wall is slowly combined with apricot flowers in many writers' poems. For example, Wang Anshi wrote in "Apricot Flowers": "Unique apricot flowers are like inviting guests, leaning against the wall and counting the red branches." There are even poems such as Two or Three Rooms on the Other Side and Red Apricot on the Wall in Wei Song's Bodhisattva Man.

However, none of these directly pointed out that red apricots appeared on the wall. It first appeared in the Song Dynasty's Xishan-Cave Ghost, and then in the Yuan Dynasty's famous "Climbing the Wall at once" written by Bai Pu. Since then, the expression and usage of "An Xing Chu Qiang" have been used much more. For example, "it's like apricots going out of the wall, but they can't be folded, which makes people feel ashamed of flowers because of the wind and rain."

This statement has gradually changed its original intention in modern times, and it has become a meaning of deceiving women to have an affair. Therefore, this statement has also changed with people's ideas in different times, and gradually deviated from the original artistic conception.
