A Brief Introduction to Shouguang Historical Figures

The book Shouguang Historical Figures is a collection of historical celebrities before the Qing Dynasty compiled by Shouguang City, Shandong Province, which concentrates on 37 historical figures related to Shouguang. This book is not only a re-excavation of Shouguang historical materials, but also a rescue of these historical materials. This is the first time in Shouguang history to systematically sort out the characters. Among the 37 selected historical figures, from the monarch to the prime minister, to the county magistrate and scholars, all of them are the embodiment of Shouguang's historical wisdom, which has played a decisive role in history. Especially for Shouguang, it is the best witness of Shouguang's history and culture, and has played a guiding role in exploring wisdom in people's life and study today. This book is political, academic and readable, and strives to achieve the organic combination of knowledge dissemination and enlightenment education. The characters in the book are arranged in the order of birth and activity time. Due to the long time span and frequent changes in administrative divisions, the names at that time are still used in the narrative, including place names, divisions and ownership. In the process of editing, the editor consulted Shouguang county annals, some genealogies and related historical books, and arranged the selected characters in detail, forming a relatively complete and detailed first-hand information.
