The Golden Horse Award was held in hsinchu city, Taiwan Province Province, and the ceremony was produced and broadcast by Taiwan TV.

The Golden Horse Award is a film award held by the Executive Committee of Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival of China Taiwan Province Film Development Foundation in Taiwan Province Province, China. Established in 1962. Together with the Chinese Golden Rooster Award and the Hong Kong Film Awards, it is called the three major awards of Chinese films.

In the early days of the Golden Horse Awards, there were large, medium and small awards. The origin of the first prize is unknown. In the second scene, Yang Yingfeng, a young sculptor, was invited to design and build it with the patterns of Shang Dynasty, showing the typical style of the winner. Later, in line with the progress of the times, it was gradually designed as a galloping posture, symbolizing the spirit of film artists' continuous efforts towards specialization, artistry and internationalization.

It also contains the macro mind of China's films to look at the world and strive for perfection. The posture of Golden Horse is a symbol of the Golden Horse Award leading China films to gallop forward.
