This month's long test, I want to share my driving experience with BMW fans. Since only my wife and I are car users at present, I will share my space experience and practicality after detailed use in the future.

Usually, when commuting, highways and urban roads are basically 70% open, 70% high-speed loop traffic, and 30% urban traffic congestion. The fuel consumption performance of the new 3 Series 330i is still very good, which is better than my brother-in-law's 325Li night, but my brother-in-law's road conditions are different from mine, so it can't be used as an absolute reference.

I talked to my brother-in-law, and his 325Li driving road conditions are just the opposite of mine, with 30% high-speed loop road conditions, 70% urban traffic jams, and fuel consumption of about 9L/ 100km. In this way, the fuel consumption performance of the 330i is slightly better (the road conditions are different, so I won't compare it further, secretly laughing).

First, the choice of driving mode:

My driving habit is usually to switch to ECO in particularly congested situations. PRO energy-saving mode, but the start and stop should be closed, because I feel that the start and stop of G20 is not too big, but sometimes I feel that the car has not stopped and I am not used to it.

In most driving scenarios, if you must use the start-stop function, it is strongly recommended to use it together with the AutoHold automatic parking function, which will make you feel better. However, because the AutoHold function is turned on, it is not very convenient to reverse the car (because I have to give oil to go, and I am not used to idling without R gear, so I generally don't turn on the AutoHold function).

Once the road conditions are good, I will switch to the comfort mode, which is more comfortable, the gearbox is not lazy or particularly sensitive, the suspension support is sufficient, the road information is filtered more, the ditch crossing and speed bump are relatively simple, and there are few aftershocks. But when cornering at high speed, will the lateral support compare with F30? 3 series almost, there will be a little shaking (shaking is what you will feel when you turn a corner at a faster speed).

Exercise mode and exercise? Plus mode, I haven't experienced it yet. Ask my brother-in-law to share it with you when you go to the mountain this month (mainly because you didn't do the first insurance, so you can't bear to step on it. It is not recommended that you drive violently before 2000km)

Second, the comprehensive feeling of steering, chassis and engine

How does this generation G20 compare with the previous generation F30? Series 3 water temperature rises much faster. Basically, after the cold car starts in the basement in the morning, the water temperature can reach the normal working temperature in about 10 minutes, which feels good. I don't have to leave the accelerator on all the time. Generally, naturally aspirated cars and turbocharged cars don't get up, so I don't like to step on the speed above 2500 rpm.

As for the learning process of gearbox, I feel that it has been almost two months since I picked up the car. The gearbox is still a little frustrated, but it's much better than when I picked up the car. The summarized gearbox frustration ranking is as follows: sports mode (including sports? Plus sign) >; Comfort mode > energy saving mode.

Turning, it feels much lighter than the previous generation, with small turning radius and sensitive direction. Basically, it takes one and a half laps to kill the wheel. I also asked my wife, and she felt very comfortable driving, including lateral parking, reversing into the warehouse and turning around in a narrow area. The new 3 series is very clever, and the direction feels very friendly to my wife (slightly lighter for me).

In terms of chassis, the comfort and exquisiteness of G20 have increased too much. At first, many people on the Internet said that Series 3 had stopped exercising and had no soul, and so on. I read a lot, too. Indeed, I admit that this generation of 3 series suspension is more comfortable to set up, and the body is further lengthened and widened, which does not mean that its handling feeling is different from the past. However, it does not mean that its limit difference is much. You can test drive yourself if you don't believe me. Tilting doesn't mean bad control. Here's a word.

As for the engine, B48TU is powerful, with 258 horsepower and 400 Nm, which is enough for me. Personal measurement shows that the acceleration is about 5.6 seconds, 0.6 seconds faster than the official 6.2 seconds, and more than half a second, which is quite good.

When the car is running, the response of low torque acceleration is fast, and the ability of high-speed continuous acceleration is also very calm. I often open the loop. Because I was lucky, I picked up the car with Michelin PS4 tires. The tires are not noisy, so I don't pay much attention to speed. When I stare at HUD, I scare myself. Why 130km/h+?

And my accelerator only stepped on a little more than a quarter, and the speed was below 2000 rpm. It can be seen that the matching of engine and gearbox is really the benchmark of the same level.

Skip the breakfast process (because I was squatting in the parking lot to eat, haha), set off for an unfinished hotel to take photos, arrive at the photo destination, and discuss how to form a team together. The "photographers" began to pose, and the owner (I) was responsible for moving the car. Other riders happily exchanged experiences in refitting and using cars, and what everyone enjoyed most was listening to the exhaust sound.

Finally, under the sound of AG exhaust that made all riders pregnant, we happily ended this breakfast meeting and agreed to meet again!
