Photographic architecture

The reason why art becomes art is only partly related to the technology and materials it uses. Its most important feature lies in the basic visual beauty extracted by the artist from the subject matter, and reproduces his talent in a touching way.

Many artists are too focused on the development of their own artistic means and completely ignore the final artistic result-this is the expressive force of art, and this is the true meaning of art.

The best photos are those that do not violate the natural form, but strive for high simplification and dare to boldly deal with lines, colors, shapes and textures. Art is to absorb these most essential visual beauty points, make them in a prominent position, eliminate those parts that hinder the central idea, or make them in a secondary position.

Looking for order in the chaos, organizing a large number of scattered composition elements into an understandable whole, conveying to people the excitement, reverence, fear, surprise or sympathy seen by photographers.

Although some aspects of nature are mannequins, the degree of aesthetic success is directly related to the emphasized elements, that is, lines, shapes, colors, three-dimensional sense and texture. Excellent works generally embody these elements, while poor works almost imitate the existence of nature and pay little attention to these elements.

Any kind of art, if it imitates other arts consciously or unconsciously, denies its value as art.

The photos have expressed everything that needs to be explained, and no supplementary explanation is needed. When adults see these exciting lines, shapes, colors, three-dimensional sense and texture, they can also re-experience the happy mood that was only found in childhood.

To create artistic works, interesting creativity and perfect technology are indispensable, but we can't think that a high-tech artist is an artist. Similarly, photographers can take technically perfect photos, but not necessarily works of art.

The success of many photographic works is either the dramatic effect of the shape of a single object or the subtle interaction of several objects. Shape is the basic element of composition.

The circle has no special directionality, while the ellipse has a long axis, which gives the figure a sense of direction.

When shooting a single shape, our goal is to find a meaningful shape and highlight it. After finding this shape, you often need to adjust your position up and down, left and right, because its environment is not ideal until the shape in the viewfinder is satisfactory. Then try to simplify the background and highlight the shape.

If the existing light can't separate the shape from the background and can't form enough contrast between them, then artificial light can be used. Enlarging the aperture and reducing the depth of field are often used to simplify the background.

People who study photographic composition should cultivate themselves to be good at realizing rectangular shapes in life when learning rectangular design.

The line itself does not exist. The things around us are so narrow that they are all regarded as lines in the photos. Such as tree trunks, cracks, shadows ...

No matter what kind of lines you create, you can be sure to find similar shapes in the visual world, whether natural or artificial.

When you draw these figures, please pay attention to how strongly your eyes point to the moving direction of these lines, and feel the sudden change of lines, its hint or rudeness, the uplift of curves or the dynamic beauty.
