The book lending center is the main service department of the Capital Library. Responsible for the collection, borrowing, consulting, accreditation and reader activities of Chinese and foreign books and materials. There are five lending rooms for literature and history, philosophy, science and technology, foreign languages and comprehensive studies, as well as Olympic reading room, rehabilitation literature reading room, study room and accreditation office, with more than 200 reading seats.

In order to increase the cultural atmosphere of the Capital Library and meet the higher cultural needs of readers, the collection lending center holds more than 100 reader activities every year by using advanced equipment and facilities and excellent venue environment. The "First Picture Forum" is well received by readers, among which "First Picture Healthy Classroom", "Charming Classroom" and "Top Class" are series of brand lectures. At the same time, various forms of activities and training were held for ordinary readers and readers with special needs, which received good social effects. Newspaper Information Center is the basic business department of Capital Library. There are more than 2,800 kinds of Chinese newspapers and periodicals before 1949, with more than 2,000 volumes of/kloc-0. Beijing local documentation center

Beijing Local Literature Center is a unique business department of Capital Library. After years of accumulation, it has an independent and relatively perfect Beijing local literature collection system and a group of experienced professionals. Through purchasing, visiting, processing, collection and digital construction, Beijing local literature collection system will be built to serve all kinds of readers and information users in Beijing and at home and abroad through reading, reference, online services, exhibitions and lectures.

Beijing local literature retrieval system mainly includes Beijing local literature bibliography database, Beijing local literature newspaper catalogue database and Beijing Memory-Beijing history and culture large multimedia database. Audio-visual materials center was established in 1980, which is the business department of the Capital Library for managing audio-visual materials. The center has advanced facilities and rich resources. There are 40 TV sets, 40 DVD players and 5 SACD players. There are about 654.38+800,000 kinds (52,000 pieces) of records, tapes, videos and audiotapes. By the end of 2006, there were about 40,000 kinds of CDs, VCDs and DVDs (6.5438+0.5 million), covering music and drama, life and entertainment, language teaching, culture and art, political history and other categories.

The center's collection of nearly 4,000 LP records (30,000) is the earliest carrier to truly record the early culture and art with sound, which can be called a treasure in the collection. Among them, the first batch of records of drilling needles in China published by EMI Company at the end of Guangxu collected the aria of Tan Xinpei and other famous Peking Opera artists and four famous artists. Information network management center

It is the department responsible for the planning, construction, maintenance and guarantee of the network system of the Capital Library, as well as the collection construction and circulation service of electronic publications in our library. Mainly responsible for the unified planning and management of automation and networking, the procurement, management, maintenance and distribution of computers and their auxiliary equipment, network equipment and consumables, as well as the procurement, installation, management and maintenance of all kinds of software; Responsible for the management of the website and domain name of the first picture, as well as the main planning, information editing and organization, page design, page maintenance and technical support of the webpage. Founded in 2005, the Information Consulting Center is the comprehensive reference service department of the Capital Library, which integrates the services of literature information navigation, retrieval, directional tracking of topics, and writing literature review. The staff of the center rely on rich collection resources, solid professional knowledge and rich consulting experience to develop and utilize literature, databases and network resources to provide reference for leading organs, enterprises and institutions at all levels and readers.

The information consultation center provides consulting services at all levels for all walks of life, and the information is accurate, comprehensive and timely; The classification is scientific, clear and logical, which provides a powerful information guarantee for users' study, work and scientific research.

Children's comprehensive lending center

Children's comprehensive lending center is the comprehensive service department of Capital Library for children readers. Mainly responsible for the collection, processing, collection and circulation of children's newspapers and periodicals, as well as the collection, reading, borrowing, consulting, accreditation and reader activities of children's books. Over the years, adhering to the purpose of "all for the young readers, all for the young readers", we have made great efforts to meet the reading needs of young readers, pay attention to children's nature, cultivate reading habits, shape healthy personality, and give full play to the social education function of the library, which has achieved good reputation and social benefits for young readers.

Children's reading activity center

Children's Reading Activity Center is a department of Capital Library that specializes in children's information literacy education and organizes all kinds of children's reading activities. It mainly includes: the red scarf reading activity covers the whole city and Yanshan area 18 districts and counties, and hundreds of thousands of children participate every year. Children's reading activities active in our library have formed or are forming their own characteristics and brands. Such as "Growing Class", "Red Sister Telling Stories" and "Children's Fun Stage", the "Sunshine Youth Reading Action" launched every winter and summer vacation has become a fixed reading activity for the Capital Library to carry out off-campus education activities. The Capital Library consciously accepts the supervision of the law, the masses and public opinion, seriously handles the public's inquiries and opinions, and gives timely answers. Please bring your second-generation ID card to the self-service accreditation machine, or bring the original ID card (including ID card, household registration book, military ID card, driver's license, foreign passport, Hong Kong and Macao ID card and Taiwan ID card) to the main service desk for manual processing.

Soldiers, disabled people, elderly people over 60 years old (inclusive) and minors over 13 years old (inclusive) can apply for discount cards at the main service desk with valid certificates.

2. Reader ID password

In order to protect your borrowing rights, please remember your reader ID password. You can use the retrieval equipment of the library, the telephone voice system or log on to the website "My Library" on the first picture to change the password.

3. Change the card reader level

Upgrade: Please bring the reader's ID card to the self-service accreditation machine (no need to fill in the form) and the main service desk (need to fill in the form).

Demotion: After returning the borrowed documents, bring the original reader's ID card and ID card to the front desk for handling. If it is an agent, you also need the original ID card of the agent.

3. Withdraw the certificate

After returning all the borrowed documents and materials, the reader himself will bring the original reader's ID card and identity certificate to the main service desk for on-site handling. If it is an agent, you also need the original ID card of the agent. After the card is returned, the reader's card will be taken back by the reception desk.

If the reader's card is lost, it must be returned in person, not on his behalf.

4. Supplementary certificate

If the reader's ID card is accidentally lost, please report it to the reception desk or telephone in time. The replacement certificate must be handled in person at the front desk and cannot be handled on behalf of the agent. The fee for the replacement certificate is 2 yuan.

If you find the original certificate after reporting the loss, you can continue to use the original function with your ID card and go to the main service desk to report the loss and cancel it. All consequences caused by the loss of the reader card shall be borne by the owner.

You cannot change the grade on the day of application.

6. If you need to report the loss, reissue, upgrade or cancel the reader's card, please go to the original accreditation library in person.
