Development of Meifeng Island

1959, after the Xin 'anjiang Reservoir was completed and impounded, some hills and valleys at the foot of the original Meihua Peak became waters.

The development of Mei Feng originated from a female photographer who worked in Shanghai. Her scenery in Jieshou Archipelago made the world see the infinite scenery and extraordinary charm of "beautiful islands" for the first time.

After the news spread, Hong Kong photographer Jane Qingfu came here, climbed up the simple observation deck along the back mountain path, and took another beautiful picture of the islands, which was like a fairyland. The beauty of Qiandao Lake then spread to Hong Kong and even Southeast Asia.

Meifeng Island is located in the center of the lake with high mountains. It is another island in Qiandao Lake with cableway besides Huangshan Mountain. If you don't choose to take the cableway, you can choose to climb the mountain by yourself, so that you can enjoy the scenery and exercise. The general climbing time is about 30 minutes.

The projects developed on the island include: landing on the island, boating on the water, visiting orchards, traveling in wild forests, cable car sightseeing, grass skiing in Mei Feng and Meikai Five Blessingg. There are also rich characteristic landscapes in the scenic area: Dai Township Gui, Lian Marie Laure Gigon, Ruxiang Garden, Orchid Pond, Shuangfeng Bridge and Zihua.
