Anji County, which belongs to Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, is located in the hinterland of the Yangtze River Delta. The Tianmu Mountain Range enters from the southwest, and it is divided into two branches, which surround both sides of the county seat. It is a "dustpan-shaped" convergent basin surrounded by mountains on three sides, with a middle depression and an opening in the northeast. The terrain is high in the southwest and low in the northeast. It has a subtropical maritime monsoon climate with a county area of 1886 square kilometers. Topography and hydrology

The Tianmu Mountain Range in Anji County enters from the southwest and is divided into two branches, the east and the west, which surround the two sides of the county, showing a "dustpan-shaped" convergent basin topography, surrounded by mountains on three sides, with a depression in the middle and an open northeast. The terrain is high in the southwest and low in the northeast. At the southern end of the county seat, Mount Wang is the highest mountain in China, with an altitude of1587.4m, and the highest peak in northern Zhejiang. Mountains are distributed in the south, east and west of the county, hills are distributed in the middle, plateaus are distributed in the north-central, and plains are distributed on the floodplains on both sides of Xitiaoxi, accounting for 1 1.5%, 50%, 13. 1% and 25.4% respectively.

The main water system in Anji County is Xitiaoxi, and the upstream Xixi and Nanxi meet in Tangpu Changtan Village, forming the main stream of Xitiaoxi, and then obliquely passing through the county from southwest to northeast, leaving the county at the mouth of Xiaoxikou. Along the way, Longwangxi, Huxi, Li Xi, Hunni Port and Xiaoshu Port converge.
