Wang Jie is such a person who dares to eat crabs. A dive will last for several years. How many times I have revisited my old place and experienced many difficulties and dangers, and finally I have shown you a hundred years of ups and downs, a hundred years of changes and a hundred years of history.

One hundred years ago, Shikumen Lane, a manifesto of the * * * Party, 12 representatives and a general meeting of Xingye Lane ignited the hope of China's revolution.

On August 1 day, a gunshot was fired in Nanchang, and countless Chinese sons and daughters took up guns and followed the * * * production party to resist foreign aggression. After a 25,000-mile long March and eight years of anti-Japanese war, they drove away the Japanese invaders.

Seventy years ago, after four years of war of liberation, the People's Liberation Army crossed the Yangtze River, wiped out the defeated troops of the Kuomintang like a whirlwind, liberated Shanghai and liberated the whole of China, and the people of China stood up from now on.

Seventy years later, after 40 years of reform and opening up, the Chinese nation is going to the world and creating another century of glory.

"I am a soldier" takes the People's Liberation Army (PLA) brokered by China's * * * production party as the subject of photography creation, takes "soldier man" (1/6 doll) as the model, and combines the model with scenes such as war sites and life, forming an organic integration of history, war sites and reality, echoing in time and space, reflecting the century-long course of China People's Liberation Army led by China's * * * production party.

The photo comic I am a soldier is divided into nine parts. Part I: Birth; Part II: Counter-encirclement and suppression; Part III: War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression; The fourth part: liberation; Part V: Freshmen; Part VI: Defending the country and defending the country; Part VII: Love of soldiers; Part VIII: Fighting the epidemic situation; Part IX: Towards the future.

"I am a soldier" adopts the expression technique of "scene reappearance" in contemporary visual photography art, combines the photo group with the comic strip form, and runs through "I am a soldier" as the main line. It is readable, vivid, interesting, visual and artistic, entertaining and transmitting positive energy.

I am an important witness of this exhibition, witnessed the shooting of the scene and the planning of the works, and was also the host of this opening ceremony. The following is my speech at the opening ceremony:

October is also the season of sweet-scented osmanthus fragrance. Yellow sweet-scented osmanthus exudes a strong fragrance, which makes every corner of autumn full of fragrance. We have just sent off the National Day holiday celebrated by the whole country and ushered in a photography feast. Today, we are gathered in Cai Bing Art Museum to attend the opening ceremony of the photo cartoon theme exhibition "I am a soldier". I'm Sun Jinwei, the host. Photographic comic books are a rare variety on the photographic map of China. The traditional photographic comic book takes the story of a drama and the dynamic performance of the characters as the picture, and compiles refined explanatory text, which organically maintains the integrity of the drama story. Wang Jie's photographic cartoons are a qualitative leap. He formed a clever combination of "history" and "art" with the conceptual technique of contemporary photography, and showed people the grand narrative space of "I am a soldier" with vivid and dramatic space, which surpassed the traditional narrative logic, thus bringing a breakthrough in visual art. Wang Jie was born in a revolutionary soldier's family. 1994 was transferred to Urban Herald as the head of photography, 1999 joined Morning News as a photojournalist, chief reporter and director of photography department. Wang Jie's 30-year photojournalism practice and achievements vividly reflect the value pursuit of "scene, truth and emotion" of media and photojournalists.
