A Brief Introduction to Tippy de Grey
China June 2008 165438+ 10/3. According to the British newspaper The Sun, just like Rudyard Kipling's novel Little, Tippy De Grey, a French girl, grew up in wild animals and became friends with them. Elephants, cheetahs and ostriches all regard Tippy as one of them. Tippy can hug them, dance with them and even ride on their backs.
Tippy's parents, wildlife photographers Sylvie Robert and Allen de Gray took pictures of Tippy playing with animals. Tippy's parents and Tippy spent ten years on the African continent.
Sylvie 1990, 52, gave birth to Tippi in the wasteland of Nabimia. She said, "My daughter is a very lucky little girl. She was born in the wild and grew up almost entirely in the wild. It is a magical feeling to grow freely in the natural environment. Only the three of us are with those wild animals, not too many people. Tippy always said it was her gift. She thinks like those animals and thinks they are her friends. They are as old as her. " She even became friends with a docile cheetah and an elephant. She named the elephant Abu.
Sylvie and Allen co-wrote a book called Tippy: My African Book. Sylvie said, "She's not afraid at all. She didn't realize that there was a big difference between her and Abu's figure. She would look Abu in the eye and talk to him. Tippi met Abu only 18 months ago, which is a special stage. " Tippy's friendship with animals is incredible. Tippy was walking with a herd of elephants when he was two years old. She will sit with her cubs for hours and dance with ostriches. Her story is like a modern version of Little Mount Tai, which has been adapted into an animated film.
Sylvie always puts Tippy's safety first. She said, "If animals are afraid, they will either run away or attack you. You must always be vigilant. Tippy has only been injured twice, and once a mink bit her nose. She was attacked by a baboon named Cindy when she was 1994. Because of jealousy, Cindy tore off a lot of Tippy's hair. Tippy feels very painful. " The Sylvie family returned to France in 2000. But Sylvie said: "When Tippy returned to Africa in 2006, Cindy ran to Tippy's side, playing with her hair and combing her hair. This is a beautiful sight. "
Tippy has a very good relationship with the Bushmen in northern Namibia, and the Bushmen also regard her as one of their own.
Tippi is now 18 years old and has started studying for a degree in film studies at the University of Paris IV.
