How to install a hemispherical camera

Abstract: Hemispherical camera, as its name implies, is a hemisphere in appearance, and it is named only because of its appearance. Hemispherical camera is more suitable for office and high-grade decoration places because of its small size and beautiful appearance. It consist of a camera, an automatic aperture manual zoom lens, a spherical cov with good sealing performance and a precise camera mounting bracket. Then do you know how to install the hemispherical camera? Let's learn about the installation and maintenance of the hemispherical camera. Hemispherical camera device

1, familiar with product performance.

Engineers and users should be familiar with the technical parameters of the hemispherical camera products, such as input voltage, power, function, etc., and try their best to know fairly well.

2, check

Before installation, the hemispherical camera should be tested and adjusted to make it in normal working condition.

3. Installation method

Before construction, installation methods such as wall hanging or hoisting can be adopted according to the environment, safety and beauty.

4. Installation angle

The installation angle of the hemispherical camera directly affects the scope of the monitoring image, so it should be operated according to the site requirements when installing. If it is installed at the entrance of a residential area within 6 meters, the camera angle is recommended to be 30-60; If installed at the cashier, the angle of the camera should be considered as 15-20, etc. In short, the camera can try to avoid the occurrence of backlight shooting and try to meet the requirements of customers.

5, video interface processing

The video signal output port, power input port and control signal port of hemispherical camera are more important, so it should be waterproof and anti-oxidation during installation. In order to avoid future image instability, uncontrolled, or even no display.

Common problems and solutions of hemispherical camera

Question 1: Color distortion and color cast of infrared hemisphere camera.

It may be that the white balance switch (AWB) is set incorrectly, or the ambient lighting conditions have changed too much. At this time, check whether the switch is set to the off position and try to improve the ambient lighting conditions.

Question 2: The image of night vision infrared hemisphere camera is normal during the day and turns white at night.

This phenomenon is generally caused by infrared reflection in the use environment or narrow space of the machine. To solve this phenomenon, we must first determine whether there is reflection in the use environment and improve the use environment as much as possible, and then check whether the effective infrared distance of the machine corresponds to the actual use distance. If a long-distance infrared machine is used in a narrow space, the image of the machine will turn white because of strong infrared light.

Problem 3: The infrared hemisphere camera series machines have poor illumination, white or bright white aperture at night.

It should be said that the phenomenon is caused by improper assembly of the machine. When assembling, the photosensitive device (photosensitive resistor) is too far away from the infrared hemisphere camera, which will lead to incomplete starting of the infrared lamp and poor lighting at night. The phenomenon of image whitening or bright white aperture is mainly caused by the refraction of infrared light emitted by infrared light-emitting tubes to the lens through the spherical cover. In order to solve this problem, it is necessary to avoid the refraction of infrared light to the lens surface. Usually, a sponge ring is used to isolate the lens from infrared light, and the ball cover must be attached to the sponge ring when assembling.

Question 4: There are several black vertical bars or horizontal bars mixed together in the picture.

In this case, the output voltage ripple of the machine power supply is generally too large, so the filtering should be strengthened and a DC regulated power supply with good performance should be adopted.

Question 5: The waterproof and heat dissipation effect is not ideal.

After a long time, there will be more or less soda in the camera (this phenomenon is mainly concentrated in the northern region). The main reason for this phenomenon is that the sealing effect of the shell is not enough, and the temperature difference is not considered during installation. When the infrared lamp starts to work, it will generate a lot of heat, and the service life of the camera will be greatly reduced because of the insufficient heat dissipation effect of the shell. To solve this problem, we can consider making the shell of infrared hemispherical camera into multiple wire slots, which is beneficial to heat dissipation.

Question 6: Insufficient color reproduction during the day.

I don't know if you have noticed that the color of the infrared hemisphere camera will be more or less color cast during the day. The most direct reason is the problem of the camera filter. Generally, the infrared hemispherical camera adopts a bimodal filter that can transmit a certain proportion of infrared rays, which has the advantage of low cost. However, because natural light contains more infrared components, it will interfere with color reduction after entering CCD, such as green plants turning gray and so on (especially in sunny outdoor environment). The use of IRCUT double filter can effectively solve this problem. IRCUT double filter consists of infrared cut-off filter and full-spectrum optical glass. When there is enough light in the daytime, the infrared cut-off filter works and the CCD restores the true color. When there is insufficient light at night, the infrared cut-off filter is automatically removed, and the full-spectrum optical glass starts to work, so that the CCD can make full use of all the light, thus greatly improving the infrared performance.

Question 7: The infrared hemisphere camera has no image.

First, check whether the polarity of external power supply is correct and whether the output voltage meets the requirements (power supply error: DC 12V 10%, AC 24V 5%), and then check whether the video connection cable is in good contact; If you use a manual aperture lens, you need to check whether the aperture is open, and the automatic aperture lens needs to adjust the horizontal potentiometer to make the aperture in a suitable position.

Question 8: The image quality of the infrared hemisphere camera is not good.

A. check whether the lens has fingerprints or is too dirty.

B. check whether the aperture is adjusted correctly.

C. check the poor contact of the video cable.

D. Check whether there is any problem with the electronic shutter or the white balance setting.

E. check whether the transmission distance is too far.

F. check whether the voltage is normal.

G. check whether there are interference sources nearby.

H when installed in the elevator, check whether it is insulated from the elevator.

Check whether the CS interface is connected correctly.

Question 9: Image distortion or geometric distortion of infrared hemisphere camera.

This phenomenon may be caused by the mismatch between the geometric correction circuit or optical lens of infrared hemispherical camera and monitor, or the characteristic impedance of video connection cable or equipment and the output impedance of infrared hemispherical camera.

When the above phenomenon occurs, please check whether the optical lens used is abnormal, whether the input impedance switch of the display is set to 75 Ω, and then check whether the impedance of the video connection cable used is 75 Ω.
