★ Jimei Dragon Palace

The location of the Dragon Palace was originally an island west of the southern tip of Jimei Peninsula. It was once the only place for residents from all over Jimei to enter Xiamen Island by boat in ancient times. At that time, the ancestors of Jimei, who made a living by farming Haitao, built the Dragon Palace here in order to pray for good weather and safe navigation. So far, the incense has lasted for more than a thousand years.

Jimei Dragon Palace is adjacent to the subway station Jimei Xue Cun, where the Millennium Temple and the modern high-speed subway collide and skillfully combine, reflecting the characteristics of rapid changes in the times.

The memorial garden on the original site of the seawall embodies the memories and feelings of countless old seawall builders, and this lofty seawall culture has also infected a new generation of builders and dream catchers developing all over the island.
