How to understand the professional ethics of news photographers

Journalism in China is an important part of Socialism with Chinese characteristics's career. Journalists should adhere to the guidance of Marxism–Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory and Theory of Three Represents, thoroughly implement Scientific Outlook on Development, hold high the banner, focus on the overall situation, serve the people, reform and innovate, be close to reality, life and the masses, guide news practice with Marxist news outlook, study and publicize the Party's theory, line, principles and policies, and inherit and carry forward the Party's fine news tradition. Actively spread the socialist core value system, strive to practice the socialist concept of honor and disgrace, abide by the professional ethics of journalism, consciously assume social responsibilities, fulfill their duties, be honest and clean, unite and cooperate, strictly abide by the law and discipline, be politically strong, be professional, be strict in discipline and have a correct style of work.

Article 1 Serve the people wholeheartedly. We should be loyal to the party, the motherland and the people, unify the expression of the party's ideas with the reflection of the people's voices, unify the correct orientation with the understanding of social conditions and public opinion, unify the positive propaganda with the strengthening and improvement of public opinion supervision, and play the role of a bridge between the party and the government and the people.

1, actively publicize the major decision-making arrangements of the party and the government, timely disseminate information in various fields at home and abroad, meet the people's growing demand for news information, and guarantee the people's right to know, participate, express and supervise;

2. Firmly establish the views of the masses, regard the masses as the subject of reporting and the object of service, publicize the advanced models at the grassroots level, dig more concrete examples around the masses, reflect the work and life of ordinary people, and use the vivid language of the masses to make news reports popular with the masses;

3. Actively reflect the correct opinions and voices of the people, criticize phenomena and behaviors that infringe upon the interests of the people, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of the people according to law.

Second, adhere to the correct direction of public opinion. We must persist in unity and stability, encourage positive publicity, sing the main theme, and constantly consolidate and expand positive and healthy public opinion.

1, always adhere to economic construction as the center, obey and serve the overall situation of reform, development and stability, and strive to promote scientific development and social harmony;

2. Propagandize scientific theory, spread advanced culture, shape a beautiful mind, promote social integrity, enhance social responsibility, and resolutely resist vulgar content that is harmful to people's physical and mental health;

3. Strengthen and improve supervision by public opinion, focus on solving problems and promoting work, and adhere to precise supervision, scientific supervision, legal supervision and constructive supervision;

4. When reporting emergencies, we should adhere to the correct orientation, timeliness, accuracy, openness and transparency, comprehensively and objectively report the incident dynamics and disposal process, promote the proper handling of incidents, and maintain social stability and people's peace of mind. Article 3 Adhere to the principle of news authenticity. We should regard truth as the life of news, insist on in-depth investigation and study, and report truthfully, accurately, comprehensively and objectively.

1. To obtain news materials through legal channels and methods, and to conduct news interviews, a valid press card shall be presented. Carefully verify the source of news information to ensure the accuracy of news elements and plots;

2. Reporting news does not exaggerate, shrink or distort the facts, does not manipulate the interviewees, and it is forbidden to fabricate or create news. Publishing and broadcasting news reports under the author's real name;

3. When transferring from other media reports, you should check the facts, and you should not publish or broadcast the contents that violate the common sense of science and life;

4. Be brave to assume the responsibility of publishing and broadcasting false reports, correct and apologize in time, and eliminate adverse effects.

Article 4 Carry forward the fine style of work. It is necessary to establish a correct world outlook, outlook on life and values, strengthen moral cultivation, improve overall quality, resist unhealthy trends and accept social supervision.

1. Strengthen learning awareness, form study habits, constantly improve political and professional quality, enhance political awareness, overall situation awareness and responsibility awareness, and strive to become an expert journalist;

2. Go deep into the grassroots, be close to the masses, experience life, deeply understand social conditions and public opinion, and enhance feelings with the masses;

3. Resolutely oppose and resist all kinds of paid news and paid ignorance, do not seek illegitimate interests by taking advantage of one's profession, do not use news reports to vent personal anger, do not ask for or accept property or other interests of the interviewee or interested parties in any name, and do not ask the interviewee for anything other than work;

4. Respect journalists and oppose unfair competition. Respect the rights and interests of other people's works, indicate the source when quoting other people's works, and oppose plagiarism;

5. Strictly implement the separation of news reports from business activities, and do not advertise in the form of news reports. Editors and reporters are not allowed to engage in business activities such as income generation.

Article 5 Adhere to reform and innovation. We should follow the law of news dissemination, improve the ability of guiding public opinion, innovate ideas, innovative contents, innovative forms, innovative methods and innovative means, so as to embody the times, grasp the regularity and be creative.

1. Deeply study the acceptance habits and information needs of different audiences, actively set topics, be good at guiding the situation, and constantly improve the ability of public opinion guidance and communication;

2. Seriously study the art of communication, make use of modern means of communication, and adopt ways that the audience can understand and accept to enhance the affinity, attraction and appeal of news reports;

3. Be good at using new carriers and technologies to collect information and release news, improve timeliness and expand coverage.

Article 6 Abide by the law. It is necessary to strengthen the concept of the rule of law, abide by the Constitution and laws and regulations, abide by the party's news discipline, safeguard national interests and security, and keep state secrets.

1. Strictly observe and correctly publicize the national system of regional ethnic autonomy, the policy of equality and unity of all ethnic groups and freedom of religious belief, and safeguard national sovereignty and social stability;

2. Safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the interviewee, respect the legitimate requirements of the interviewee, and do not disclose personal privacy or slander others;

3, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of minors, women, the elderly and the disabled and other special groups, pay attention to protect their physical and mental health;

4. Maintain judicial dignity, do a good job in case reporting according to law, do not interfere with judicial trial activities conducted according to law, and do not make qualitative and conviction reports and comments before the court decides;

5. Foreign-related reports shall abide by China's foreign-related laws, foreign policies and international treaties to which China is a party.

Article 7 Promote exchanges and cooperation among international journalists. Efforts should be made to cultivate world vision and international vision, and actively build a bridge between China and the world.

1. Maintain the dignity and national interests of the motherland and the image of journalists in China in international exchanges;

2. Actively spread the excellent culture of the Chinese nation and enhance people's understanding of Chinese culture around the world;

3. Respect the sovereignty, national traditions, religious beliefs and cultural diversity of all countries, and report on the economic and social development and excellent national culture of all countries;

4. Actively participate in organized exchanges and cooperation with national media and international (regional) news agencies, enhance understanding and deepen friendship, and do more work to promote the construction of a harmonious world with lasting peace and common prosperity.

Supplementary provisions: for this specification, the member units of China Journalists Association at all levels should formulate corresponding implementation rules according to the actual situation, and seriously organize the implementation; Journalists all over the country should consciously implement it; Professional record associations at all levels should actively promote and welcome supervision from all walks of life.
