The difference between looking up and looking down in photography
In fact, photography is the same. Whether you use a mobile phone or a camera and choose different shooting angles to shoot the same object, the photos you get are very different. Different shooting heights will bring different feelings, and choosing different perspectives can show ordinary subjects in a fresher and more unique way.
Next, Composition Jun will share with you three most common composition angles: upper composition, upper composition and lower composition.
? 1, overlooking the composition
Look at the scene from top to bottom when shooting. Depending on the scene, usually the mobile phone or camera is located above the subject, which can best show the whole picture of the subject.
The picture below is on the plane, overlooking the characteristic landform below the aerial photography.
Below is the runway of the campus playground.
2. Head-up composition
When shooting, shoot in parallel, which is a common shooting method for most people. The shooting lens is highly consistent with the subject, and the photographer often shoots the subject in a standing or semi-squatting position.
Step 3 look up and shoot
The camera shot from bottom to top. Depending on the scene, the lens is usually located at the bottom of the subject and shot from the perspective of looking up.
The picture above shows the Seoul TV Tower in South Korea, which was shot by Composition Jun.. This is a search composition. The closer to the tower, the lower the viewing angle, and the more obvious the towering vision of the tower.
Here's another trick. When looking up at the composition, combined with the vertical framing method, the tall and majestic momentum of the main body can be highlighted when shooting the architectural style, and the lines of the characters can be made more slender, slim or tall when shooting portraits.
Summary:
The choice of the above three composition perspectives depends on two points:
First, our position is high, flat or low. If we are tall, we naturally use overlooking composition; if we are low, we should use looking up composition.
Second, the height of the subject. If the main body is a tall and magnificent building, naturally it is often composed from the top; if it is a short main body, it is often composed from the top.
According to many years of shooting experience, I suggest you climb as high as possible when shooting, because the pictures you shoot are more atmospheric. If you look up at the composition, instead, it is suggested to shoot a lower position and shoot directly on the ground. This is why many brides are not tall, but they shoot very high, because photographers shoot directly on the ground!
