Wang Chi’s photo annotation

The picture on this page was taken at the wedding (wedding day) of Wang Chi's second son. The second person from the right is Wang Chi. The boxes in the scene contain the woman's dowry, which generally includes a door curtain, a pair of pillows, a mirror basin, rouge powder, hairpin jewelry, coats, skirts and trousers, as well as daily necessities such as porcelain bowls, porcelain pots, wooden boxes and wooden utensils. The French photographer Fang Suya wrote in French under the photo that he attended the wedding of a big banker's son, and used French homophones to indicate that the bank was called Tong Qingfeng. This is the only photo found so far that shows Wang Chi himself.
