Climbing Huangshan Mountain, there is no mountain in the world, just stop watching

I have never liked mountain climbing. I have only climbed Huashan Mountain during my college years. It was an extremely unforgettable experience: when I climbed halfway up the mountain at eight or nine o'clock in the evening, my companion said that he could not climb anymore and had to stay there. I wanted to rest, so I escaped into the night and climbed to the top of Huashan Mountain. The wind was howling on the top of the mountain and the temperature dropped sharply. I wore short sleeves and huddled on a small slope shivering and waited for dawn alone. Every minute was torture. Looking back now, I really don’t know where the ambition came from.

This trip to Huangshan was also caused by others' deception, rather than taking the initiative. Depart on Friday afternoon and check into Tangkou Town, South Gate of Huangshan Mountain in the evening. The development of Tangkou largely depends on its proximity to the entrance of the scenic spot. Standing on the street, you can easily see the remaining peaks of Huangshan Mountain. This has gradually made it become the living service base and tourist reception base of Huangshan Mountain. It’s a night of rest and preparation, ready to go.

The next day, I got up early and walked eastward on the Yungu Line and started to go up the mountain. I passed through Rusheng Pavilion, Xianrenzhilu, and Baie Ridge, and arrived at Baie Villa at about 9:30. There is a Officially certified as the best photography spot, you can have a panoramic view of the beautiful mountains and rivers. After a short rest, we continued on and arrived at Beihai Hotel at about 10:30. As can be seen from the name, we have entered Beihai Scenic Area from Yungu Scenic Area. The price of the hotel that day was 8,800 for a deluxe suite, 6,800 for a junior suite, 1,680 for a single room or a standard room, and 260 for an extra bed. Many tents were set up in the square in front of the hotel, like a silent protest against the housing prices. Not far away there is the Shilin Hotel, which looks more luxurious and is probably more expensive. We stayed in the square for an hour, washed our faces, relieved ourselves and wandered around, and then prepared to go to the West Sea Grand Canyon.

Huangshan Mountain is mainly composed of granite. After hundreds of millions of years of orogeny, crustal movement, and natural weathering, various peaks and forests have been formed. Maybe it's a matter of personal preference. Everything in front of me cannot be said to be beautiful, but it always feels too samey. After hiking all morning, the scenery is almost the same. I no longer know where I am, and my physical strength is gradually declining. Thinking about the upcoming hike, The canyon, which is several kilometers away, is even more desperate. Then it suddenly occurred to me that the reason why I don’t like mountain climbing may be because I am in a hurry. You must complete certain distances and reach a certain place at a certain time, otherwise you will easily fall into the dilemma of sleeping in the open air. This state of rushing has deviated from the My original intention is “I don’t care about the destination, I only care about the scenery along the way”.

Fortunately, the road to the Xihai Grand Canyon was closed, and we were forced to turn back after walking for a short distance. Taking a break in the canyon was probably the most pleasant moment in the two days. After being exhausted, each took a stone's throw, took off his shoes and socks, and let the cool breeze wash over his body and mind. Everyone was silent, as if they were all feeling the high sky and light clouds in Huangshan Mountain.

I have almost forgotten my afternoon trip. I have been wandering around the canyon. I don’t know where to find a dormitory to stay at night. The environment is almost the same as that of a student dormitory. There are a few bunks and bunks, which is enough for one night. For tomorrow's sunrise. That night, his bones almost fell apart, and he couldn't move after he fell. They told me to get up at 4:30 in the morning, so I just gave up and slept until they came back.

In fact, I didn’t sleep for long. I set off again at 7 o’clock in the morning, arriving at the station ahead: Guangmingding. In the early morning, Huangshan Mountain is surrounded by mist and vast sea of ??clouds, with suitable shades and colors, and is as beautiful as a dreamland. There are four unique wonders in Huangshan, namely strange pines, strange rocks, sea of ??clouds and hot springs. This is one of them. As for the strange rocks, there are indeed many on the way, but in my eyes, they are not so strange that they are surprising; as for the hot springs, I don’t have much interest in experiencing them on a hot day; and the strange pine is none other than the famous "Welcome Pine" Bar.

The so-called front mountain and back mountain of Huangshan Mountain are roughly bounded by Guangmingding. The Yungu line we go up the mountain is the back mountain, starting from Guangmingding and passing through Lotus Peak, Yuping Tower (Welcome Pine), and Tiandu Peak. It is the front mountain, the back mountain is more beautiful, and the front mountain is more majestic. To break it down, this area belongs to the Yuping Scenic Area, which is a must-visit place that combines the best of Huangshan Mountain.

Guangmingding Peak, Lotus Peak, and Tiandu Peak are also known as the three main peaks of Huangshan. The altitudes are not much different, all around 1860 meters. Everywhere we go, we will take photos with the geographical information monument to show our arrival. This trip. But for me, I don’t feel very proud when I reach the top of the peak. Instead, I am filled with emotion about the magical welcoming pine tree. It is a landscape I have seen countless times in various halls and conference rooms since I was a child. Now, Up close, taking a photo with it is as unreal as taking a photo with some unattainable idol.

Around 11 o'clock, just as another round of fatigue hit, a clear spring suddenly appeared in front of us. The spring water was crystal clear and cool to the bones, so we each took a stone and took off our shoes and socks... Compared to the hot spring , I would rather soak in the ice spring here, it’s so cool, than give it to the county magistrate.

In the promotional text, almost every scenic spot claims to be an ideal place for certain animals to inhabit and breed, including several species of birds, fish, amphibians, reptiles, and mammals, as well as nationally protected animals and rare animals. There are several species. In fact, it is difficult to see any animal anywhere, which makes me, who loves animals, often feel disappointed. Fortunately, in this inconspicuous creek, we found several small salamanders, which looked like loaches with four extra legs. Of course, although we often engage in vulgar behaviors such as taking off our shoes and socks, we still have noble sentiments about caring for animals. We took a few photos and let the giant salamander go.

After resting enough, continue on your way. The last stop is Ciguang Pavilion (the stone monument of the World Geopark). Not far away is the hot spring scenic area, and then the south gate is Tangkou Town. The counterclockwise circular tour ends here.

Although Huangshan is indeed beautiful, the ancients said that "you can't see the mountains after returning from Huangshan" and "there are no mountains in the world when you climb Huangshan". This is really an over-praise for Huangshan. Perhaps the ancients were limited by geographical knowledge and lack of transportation. It's just an uninformed exclamation. There are countless famous mountains in China. Although I have never climbed them, I have always seen them. It should be said that each has its own characteristics, and Huangshan is undoubtedly the best among them.
