I have been a member of the Presidium of Xue Tong Institution for half a year. I remember when I was campaigning, I was ambitious to carry out a large-scale internal reorganization of Xue Tong society and do a good job in university publicity. Unconsciously, 20 1 1 year is coming. And this road of reform, we have gone through half.

In order to do this job well, all members of Xue Tong society have made unremitting efforts. The Bureau, the Secretariat, the Photography Department and the Department of Public Information worked together to achieve effective collaboration. Near New Year's Day, we will summarize the work of Xue Tong's club this semester as follows for the reference of college leaders and teachers:

First, grasp the macro trend and establish major policies.

As we all know, the news media is the mouthpiece of the party and the government. For colleges and universities, news propaganda plays an irreplaceable role in information dissemination. The College of Education and the College of Brilliance are institutions and groups that focus on college propaganda work. Directly under the Youth League Committee of the College, responsible for the publicity work of the College, such as the news of students and workers, the dynamics of party building, teaching and scientific research, etc. Therefore, it plays an important role in the publicity of university activities.

In the past semester, Xue Tongshe adhered to the tenet of "recording every bit of our school with words and impressing teachers and students with pictures" and adhered to "one center and two basic points" (focusing on our school's propaganda work, improving members' news writing ability and enhancing the overall competitiveness of Xue Tongshe), and achieved great results.

In response to the college's call of "striving for excellence", Xue Tong Institution has also determined the general policy of "establishing advanced propaganda organizations and striving to be propaganda activists" according to its own characteristics. This policy closely revolves around the daily work procedures of Xue Tong society, and it has been widely recognized by the new and old members of Xue Tong society during the proposal process. Since the beginning of school, the new and old members of Xue Tong Society have actively participated in the news propaganda work of the school, publishing more than 0/00 news articles on the school website and dozens of news articles in the school-level propaganda media such as Youth Flying, Huda Online and School Newspaper.

Second, strengthen training and reform the training mode.

In order to improve the news writing ability of the new members of 10, Xue Tong Institute has carried out a series of reforms with the training mode of "3+ 1" (combining the study of news theory knowledge, senior experience and news practice to strengthen team cohesion).

The study of news theory knowledge mainly lies in the innovation of traditional social meetings in Xue Tong. In order to let new members know about news writing as soon as possible, this semester, the Society invited He, the editor-in-chief of the third edition of the school newspaper, Yang Jianwu, Qin Jinghua, Jiang Qian, members of the Presidium of the former Society, and the current leaders of the Institute of Physical Education and Electronic Technology to give lectures on news writing and related management schemes respectively. (See Annex I) This broadens the news horizons of new members, and also gives them a deeper understanding of news writing, which greatly improves their news ability.

In the past, Xue Tong Society insisted on the training mode of "bringing the new with the old", requiring the old members to guide the new members in news writing within a certain period of time. This semester, Xue Tongshe still adopts this training mode, but its content has been expanded, so that it is no longer limited to news writing, but gives guidance to new members on college experience, so that new members can understand some skills and methods in news interview and news writing, thus reducing their unnecessary confusion in news writing. This is what we advocate "advanced experiential learning".

Learn through action, think through experience and grow through exploration. This is the style that Xue Tong society has always followed. Without news interview and news writing, it is impossible to guarantee the accuracy of news information, and it is also impossible to improve the quality of news, which is extremely unfavorable to the work of Xue Tong Society and the news propaganda of our college. Therefore, we strongly advocate that members of Xue Tong society conduct direct and multi-angle interviews and communicate with news information providers in time to ensure the correctness of the information. In addition, we also give timely feedback on members' news writing through QQ mail or telephone, so that they can constantly reflect on the problems existing in news writing.

In our view, Xue Tong society is a big family, there is no so-called leadership and being led, and there is no so-called hierarchical title; Every member of Xue Tong society is our brother and sister. We have been committed to creating a good communication environment and learning atmosphere for Xue Tong society, so as to enhance the cohesion of the society with high academic qualifications.

In order to achieve this ideal state, we have made the following three attempts:

(1) The traditional round table in Xue Tong society has undergone profound changes.

This semester, the regular meeting mode of Xue Tong Institution was supplemented on the basis of the original "roll call system" and "commendation system".

First of all, before the regular meeting, we often consciously stagger classmates or members who are familiar with each other, and encourage everyone to sit with unfamiliar members, so as to deepen the understanding among members and enhance the communication between members.

Secondly, we also enriched the form of regular meetings. For example, when the weather is good, we encourage everyone to hold outdoor regular meetings, on the one hand, let everyone get more sunshine and expand their thinking; On the other hand, it also creates a natural atmosphere for the regular meetings of Xue Tong society, so as to facilitate communication.

In addition, since February of 10, we have asked members of 10 to take turns to preside over regular meetings to exercise their management and overall planning abilities. In order to ensure the quality of the regular meeting, the host will attend the regular meeting of the League School Student Union held in our college on Monday before presiding over the regular meeting, and fully collect news information. After that, the host also needs to take the initiative to have face-to-face communication with members of the presidium, keep abreast of the current situation and some problems in Xue Tong society, and put forward his own solutions or ideas for hosting regular meetings. This way of regular meeting not only mobilizes the activity enthusiasm and participation of 10 members, but also increases their sense of responsibility, and also enables members of the presidium to have a deeper understanding of the development and psychological dynamics of 10 members, so as to guide them in their value orientation and work attitude and formulate specific solutions for different members' problems.

(3) Make full use of the network platform to communicate with members.

In order to strengthen communication among members, grasp and release news information in time, Xue Tong Society established its own QQ group (group number: 1 16 136548), and invited the leaders, teachers and propaganda committee members of our institute to join the group. Remind each class to write the news of the group day activities, upload photos of the activities to the group space, publish announcements of the activities, express members' feelings in Xue Tong's group, and upload internal work and management documents of Xue Tong's group, such as meeting minutes and contact list, which are our weekly assignments. Through this platform, we also conveyed the recent work problems and related suggestions to the Committee members in time, as well as the work arrangement for next week, which facilitated the smooth progress of the work.

Third, clarify the division of labor and promote cooperation among members.

In the rapid development of modern society, it is particularly important to deal with problems in unity and cooperation. The clear division of labor among all departments also provides good objective conditions for the smooth completion of the task. In order to improve the efficiency of news propaganda, Xue Tongshe made a clear division of labor in the internal reorganization.

First of all, Xue Tong society has a clear division of labor in manuscript review and processing. 10 members will distribute the news to the relevant members of level 09 for modification according to the news division table, and then the members of level 09 will also distribute the modified news to the relevant members of the presidium according to the division table. Members of the presidium will conduct a new round of censorship of the news. Eligible manuscripts will be sent to the public mailboxes of members of the Presidium of 2008, Yang Jianwu and Qin Jinghua, for publication; Unqualified manuscripts will be directly returned to the author for revision until they are published.

Secondly, Xue Tong society has also refined its work in the division of labor. The presidium is mainly responsible for the review and revision, department management, press release and other work. Secretariat departments are mainly responsible for regular meeting records, social fee management, information transmission, etc. The photography department is mainly responsible for news photography and regular meeting photography; The news department pays attention to the improvement of news writing ability. (See Annex 4) However, members of any department must insist on news writing. All members of society should devote themselves to the news propaganda work of our college and advocate the personality development based on news writing.

Fourth, standardize the reward and punishment system to achieve fair competition.

Under the background that Xue Tong society advocates "pursuing excellence", members of Xue Tong society show great enthusiasm for news writing. However, there is still the problem of increasing competition among members of Xue Tong society. In this year's New Year's Day commendation, there is little difference in the evaluation results of Xue Tong Society members at 10 level, which makes the selection difficult. The previous reward and punishment system was mainly calculated according to the amount of news release. In order to ensure fair competition, we have formulated a clear reward and punishment plan this semester and further standardized the reward and punishment system.

This reward and punishment system is based on humanization and pays attention to fairness. When selecting propaganda activists, the amount of news release is the main reference, and members' participation in activities and daily work performance are also taken into account. Of course, in order to take care of the enthusiasm of the class members, we allocated appropriate places to each class. We also pay enough attention to the classes that have fewer places allocated and the news selection needs to be improved. Some students who are relatively good in strength, but still have a gap with the winners, we bought them small prizes according to the number of places in their classes with social expenses to encourage them to continue their efforts. The internal reward project will be carried out at the same time as the commendation of publicity activists. This move was strongly supported by members of Xue Tong's social group (10, 09). The reward items are ready.

In addition, Yang Jianwu and four members of the 08 Presidium of Xue Tong Institution were actively responsible for the news release of our website in this semester, and made a lot of efforts for the news update of our website. In order to express our gratitude to them, Xue Tong Institute decided to buy them small gifts as a souvenir with social expenses after internal consultation. At present, gifts have been given by members of the Secretariat at the level of 10.

Five, based on the website publicity, pay attention to the dynamics of the school newspaper.

Our news propaganda positions are mainly divided into three types: websites (including our website, school-level youth flying, Huda online website, etc. ), Hubei University newspaper, external newspapers and periodicals. Websites and school newspapers are the most common and convenient publicity channels. Therefore, in this semester, the publicity work of Xue Tong Society mainly focuses on the website and school newspaper.

First of all, on the websites of Education College and Chucai College, members of the Presidium of Xue Tong Institution in 2008, such as Yang Jianwu, Qin Jinghua, Pei Chen and Jiang Qian, paid close attention to the upcoming news, found out the mistakes and deficiencies in the news in time, and gave enthusiastic guidance, which made great contributions to improving the news quality and updating the news on our website in time. Of course, the news propaganda of Xue Tong Society is not limited to the platform of hospital website. In order to expand the scope of news propaganda as much as possible, in 2009, members of the Presidium of Xue Tong Institution put the news into the public mailboxes of the college website, the school's Qingfei website, the online website of Huda University and other places in turn, which really ensured that the news of the same event played its maximum online propaganda value. In the process of implementation, the scheme has achieved obvious publicity effect.

In the publicity of the school newspaper, we pay special attention to the publishing consciousness of the members of Xue Tong society 10. After learning that some members can't read the school newspaper for various reasons, we strive for more school newspaper resources through the school newspaper receiver and the teachers in the school newspaper editorial department, and send the school newspaper to members for reading or commenting at the regular meeting on Tuesday. In addition, through timely communication and feedback with the teachers of the school newspaper, we can keep abreast of the publishing trends of the school newspaper, grasp the direction of submission, actively contribute, and constantly strive for the goal of publishing each issue.

This semester, the Xue Tong Society publicized only one news: "Huda Forest Choir won the first world gold medal" (Wuhan Evening News, Chen Li). Therefore, the publicity work of Xue Tong society is relatively weak in external publicity. This is also an issue that members of the Presidium of Xue Tong Institution have been paying close attention to. We hope to further explore the news work of Xue Tong Institute in the next semester, so as to do a better job in the news propaganda work of our college.

Sixth, pay attention to activity summary and encourage growth reflection.

The ancients said, "Learning without thinking is useless, and thinking without learning is dangerous." The development of Xue Tong society requires not only the * * * study and * * * efforts of all members of society, but also constant reflection. In order to improve everyone's thinking ability, we encourage members of Xue Tongshe 10 to read three news articles every week (the source is not limited, but we advocate that the news comes from the school newspaper or the school website and the college website), and make some comparisons and comments. If necessary, we will also invite some students to comment on the news they think at the regular meeting. For some of their questions, we will also give suggestions and answers based on our own experience.
