Are the photos taken in the photo contest not from PS?

Not exactly.

PS generally refers to retouching photos with PhotoShop software.

In fact, this is understandable.

However, because the "electronic darkroom" is easy to operate, a primary school student can easily "make something out of nothing" in the picture, which greatly destroys the authenticity of the picture! This kind of PS, which is immoral and has nothing to do with pictures and expressions, is spurned by serious photographers.

However, as a photographic work, the necessary adjustment of cutting, tone and color scale in the later period is completely acceptable.

In fact, in the silver salt darkroom, in the process of printing, the works need to be adjusted accordingly. However, in China, it is rare that photographers are also darkroom masters. Darkroom (later stage) is a process of re-creation. But we must distinguish between ordinary photography and creative photography.

Photos of participating in the competition, as well as news documentary photos, preferably less PS.

Generally speaking, serious movie games will have more detailed regulations on the degree of PS.
