Recently, Beijing took the lead in piloting the "Seamless Forest" in Xishan National Forest Park, and will gradually promote it in 31 forest parks in the city. The purpose of this activity is to advocate that people do not leave garbage or damage the natural environment when traveling in mountain forests and carrying out various outdoor activities, and to remind people that after leaving the tourist destination, it is as if they have never been there.

I'll take my garbage with me

In recent years, outdoor activities such as traveling, mountaineering and camping have increased day by day, but with it, some outdoor sports enthusiasts have also destroyed the natural ecological environment frequently. According to reports, three years ago, Wu Mou and Wen, two "friends" in Handan City, Hebei Province, illegally entered the Jiuzhaigou Nature Reserve in order to seek excitement. During the two days of hiking, they destroyed the ecological environment of the reserve and had a bad influence. Punishment according to law; Two years ago, in Wulanhada Volcano Group in Chahar Right-wing Rear Banner, Inner Mongolia, some tourists climbed volcanoes, crushed grasslands and discarded garbage at will, which caused damage to volcanic geological relics and the surrounding grassland ecological environment. In view of the destruction of natural and human resources caused by outdoor sports, management departments in many places began to cooperate with professionals and non-governmental organizations to introduce the international concept of "seamless forest" into China.

The "Traceless Mountain Forest" campaign, which calls on tourists to respect and protect nature, was officially piloted in Xishan National Forest Park in Beijing in August this year.

Recently, the author walked into Xishan National Forest Park and saw that every visitor who entered the park would receive plastic bags issued by the staff. A tourist who participated in the "Traceless Mountain Forest" activity was very happy to say that during the garden visit, the garbage generated by himself was put into degradable plastic bags, and after the tour, the garbage was sent to the designated place to be weighed, and a free park ticket was given.

It is understood that the staff of Xishan National Forest Park prepared nearly 1, biodegradable garbage bags and distributed them to visitors entering the park free of charge. On the first day of the pilot, * * * had more than 85 people participating in the activity, and the accumulated garbage was about 38 kilograms.

Non-trace is the most beautiful trace

Not only picking up garbage, "non-trace mountain forest" has rich connotations, including seven basic principles: adequate planning and preparation in advance, walking and camping in places within tolerance, proper disposal of garbage, maintaining the original style of the environment, reducing the impact of fire on the environment, respecting wildlife and considering other users. In addition, there are two most important core concepts of "seamless forest": "respect" for the environment and "minimum impact" to achieve harmony between man and nature.

In Shandong, volunteers often go deep into the steep slopes of mountains and streams regularly to pick up garbage such as cigarette butts, cigarette cases and mineral water bottles; In Lanzhou, the students of the Green Team Hiking Camp of Lanzhou University started from Zhaohua Ancient City in Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province, and arrived in Zitong County, Mianyang City, crossing the Jinniu Ancient Road, popularizing "seamless forest" and promoting green environmental protection. Wherever the team goes, they don't take a leaf, and rest in place without leaving a trace of garbage.

Recently, Guangdong Zhaoqing Eco-environment Bureau, Zhaoqing Eco-environment Bureau Gaoyao Branch and other units * * * jointly launched a volunteer activity with the theme of "only taking photos, leaving footprints", inviting lecturers from Friends of Nature and senior outdoor experts to explain the concept of "seamless forest" on the spot, and advocating the families present to start from themselves and practice low-carbon environmental protection life.

Although the influence of "non-trace forest" is not great in China at present, many people have implemented the principle of "non-trace forest" in their lives. From the diary of a donkey friend's trip to Shan Ye, we can see their good intentions to protect nature.

"Beijing, Pinggu, upstream of Huangsongyu Reservoir, Lishugou Village is a natural Shan Ye with abandoned old houses. Our two-day and one-night outdoor activities will start from the entrance of the village, go upstream, camp and carry out training activities in a gentle highland surrounded by mountains.

Before the official start of the activity, we held a simple ceremony to worship the mountain, which made everyone connect with nature in a short time. After that, everyone chose to walk and camp on the tolerable surface. The' affordable' surface refers to the annual herbaceous plants growing on the surface, which have withered and will not pose a threat to plant growth. "

In order to minimize the impact, it is necessary to make full consideration and preparation in advance for outdoor fires. Specifically, before raising the bonfire, consider whether alcohol lamps, candles, portable stoves and other methods can be used to replace it with less damage to the surface. If you have to make a fire, adopt the least impact behavior, such as laying a base with stones on the surface to cushion the fire point and protect the surface.

when the activity came to an end, the clean-up work of "non-trace" mountain forest began. "We will take the garbage we have picked up back to the city for centralized treatment. One of the proper ways to treat kitchen waste is to bury it on the spot. The process of burial: stay away from the water source, choose the surface with less organic matter, and the hole should be deep and wide enough to avoid damaging the plant roots. Raw kitchen waste can be directly buried. Cooked kitchen waste should be washed with oil stains and then buried. The dead branches and leaves should be mixed into the kitchen waste, crushed with wooden sticks to accelerate decomposition, and covered with dead branches after sealing the soil to restore its original appearance."

"The closer I get to nature, the more I feel awe." Before leaving Lishugou, this donkey friend and his companions were deeply touched.
