Three Cutting Methods of Spring Characters

Spring has come and the flowers are in bloom. I'll teach you three ways to cut spring characters.

Tools: red paper, scissors, pencil, eraser.

The first kind:

1. Take a square piece of colored paper and fold it in half along the center line.

2. Draw a spring pattern on the folded colored paper. The upper part is embedded with a copper coin pattern, and the lower part is decorated with Shou Ziwen, as shown below.

3, cut down along the painted pattern, the pattern is mostly straight, it is still very easy to cut.

4. After cutting, unfold the red paper, which is a kind of paper-cut in spring and a very simple paper-cut in Shou Ziwen.

The second type:

5. Draw a pattern on the folded red paper.

6. Cut along the pattern, and the effect after cutting is shown in the figure below.

7. After unfolding, it is the last paper-cut work of spring figures. Compared with the previous pattern, there is a horizontal line in the middle of Shou Ziwen.

The third kind:

8. Draw a pattern on the folded red paper.

9. Cut along the drawn pattern.

10, after unfolding, it is the third paper-cutting effect of spring characters, which is more difficult.
