Clouds and seas in Hong Kong

Every time I touch my heart, I hope to touch your heartstrings.

Japanese photographer Nobuyoshi Araki wrote after taking a group of photos in Hong Kong: "Hong Kong is like a lover, a lover, which makes you linger." Hong Kong is a magical city. No matter who it is, this is a city that can't be said clearly in a few words.

Although in recent years, Hong Kong has become a minefield for mainland tourists. However, Hong Kong is still a place I can't put it down. Her energetic breath and decadent temperament are confusing and fascinating. Every step, countless feelings and stories will rise in my mind.

For people like me who don't have a high desire to shop (not Joan), the sugar-coated shells of capitalism don't attract me at all (proud face). I'm really tired of shopping malls in Central and cosmetics shops all over the street. I prefer to stop, walk here, see with my eyes and measure with my feet. Recommend two places I like very much. If you happen to be in Hong Kong recently, you can have a look around.

As if in the clouds-55th floor, Hong Kong Monetary Authority

Maybe I am too ignorant. I never knew that the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, located in the second phase of the Central International Financial Center, would have a free place open to the public, overlooking the whole of Hong Kong. The first time I saw the recommendation of travel expert @ Zhao Gongzi, my blood was boiling.

▲ I went downstairs to take pictures, and the security guard immediately came out of the building and said "Don't take pictures".

To tell the truth, I was not as excited as I thought when I looked down at the night view of Hong Kong from the top of Taiping Mountain. Maybe my expectations are too high. It's novel to sit on a small train and watch the tall building behind you become a curved surface.

But when I stood on the Taiping Mountain and looked down, I felt that I was standing on the Long Ta overlooking the night view of Harbin. Except the scenery, it's really different, but it's not too special.

So when I learned that the 55th floor of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority was open to the public and could overlook the whole of Hong Kong during the day, I immediately patted my thigh and "went". As a result, there is no more correct decision.

▲ The Hong Kong Monetary Authority Building is opposite the ferry pier in Central. Just saw the famous Ferris wheel in Central and crossed the road.

▲ After entering the door, take out your ID card and tell the staff to "visit the 55th floor". She will give you a "visitor" label. Put it on and you can take the elevator all the way upstairs.

Remember to rest on public holidays. The first time I went there was Sunday, and people were closed. I subconsciously regard this place as a scenic spot all year round.

▲ Just step into the 55th floor and turn right, which is the destination-Hong Kong Monetary Authority Information Center.

The exhibition in the exhibition hall is divided into four parts:

"Hong Kong Currency" traces the development of Hong Kong's currency and banking system, and shows some coins and banknotes that used to circulate in Hong Kong and its adjacent areas.

The "Policy" section describes the work of HKMA;

The "Special Topics" section introduces some hot financial topics;

The giant "historical corridor" on the wall of the exhibition hall mainly introduces the development history of Hong Kong's currency and banks.

When I went up, there were only two people visiting in the hall. On a quiet afternoon, the huge glass windows are the scenery of Hong Kong.

▲ It is said that there are only two places in Hong Kong where you can enjoy such scenery. One is the O area on the top floor of ICC, and the other is HKMA.

▲ I heard that when the weather is good, you can see the airport all the way on the HKMA floor. On the day of going up, it was foggy in Hong Kong, so I couldn't see that far. But famous buildings such as HSBC, Standard Chartered and Jardine Matheson have a panoramic view.

Actually, I don't know if this place is an upset, but I asked many friends who have been to Hong Kong, and they all said "never been" and "never heard of it". But after listening to my Amway, they all said, "I must go to Hong Kong next time." What about you?

The third kind of Hong Kong-Shek O Village

Many years ago, when I watched Guo Jinan and Jackie Lui's Hong Kong drama "Island Police", I was very curious about the island Pingzhou, and lamented that the bustling and modern Hong Kong had such a simple and peaceful sea island. After that, I was particularly interested in the outlying islands of Hong Kong.

In Hong Kong, besides Hong Kong Island, there are more than 200 large and small islands, collectively referred to as outlying islands. Shek O is a peninsula on the south bank of Hong Kong Island.

Baidu Encyclopedia said, "Shek O is located in the east of Stanley on Hong Kong Island, with beautiful scenery and quiet environment. Except for the luxury residential area in Shiao Shanzi, there are almost no buildings in the whole area, which is more like the countryside than Tai O and Mui Wo. "

It sounds desolate. There are so many outlying islands in Hong Kong, why should I choose Shek O? The reason is very simple, because the old man xing.

This is the location of the movie king of comedy. Many tourists come here to see the tree on which Cecilia Cheung and Stephen Chow originally relied, but now the tree has been bent and protected by shelves.

▲ This shot and this tree have become classics.

After dinner in the morning, I took a bus from Mong Kok to Shau Kei Wan and changed trains. On this journey, you must sit in the first row of the upper deck of the double-decker bus, the first row of the upper deck! Because from above, you can see the most magnificent Liaoyuan, the beautiful scenery of the sky. This trip to Shek O was a pleasant surprise. ..

▲ Sitting on the upper floor of the double-decker bus, the scenery you see is simply beautiful.

▲ Take bus No.9 from Shau Kei Wan, which is Shek O Village. The entrance to the village where I got off is the location in king of comedy-the World Olympic Health Center.

▲ This is the tree against which Cecilia Cheung leans. Walking out of the small stone gate behind the tree, the scenery suddenly became clear.

▲ In Shiqiao Village in the early morning, there are few people and the water is very clear.

▲ Go straight ahead and walk to the end of the village, which is Shek O Bay. The sea here is green and clear, and the waves beat against the shore.

▲ I ran to the reef and sat for a while, blowing the sea breeze, listening to the waves, and watching the newcomers take wedding photos on the shore. It is said that beyond's MV Broad Sky was shot in Shek O Bay.

▲ Shi 'ao is very small and quiet. Completely different from the downtown area of Hong Kong, the houses here are very short, there are no high-rise buildings invading, and the original small fishing village is maintained. Flowers and plants are planted under the eaves of every household. The photos I took are not good enough, and all the particularly beautiful quadrangles are in my mind.

Walking on a narrow road, you can feel a completely different Hong Kong. Apart from being addicted to money and being shabby, this place seems to be the third Hong Kong, so quiet that you can't bear to break it.

▲ Go back to Shek O Road and go in the other direction, which is Shek O Beach. Compared with the magnificence of Shek O Bay, Shek O Beach is more like a delicate girl, with white and delicate beaches and calm sea.

▲ The color of seawater is not encroaching blue, but more calm green.

There are not many people on the beach, but many foreigners sunbathe here. Several children are playing by the sea, and everything is so gentle and comfortable.

On the day of going to Shek O, it is a traditional Hong Kong Baoshan Festival to catch up with the peaceful Tomb-Sweeping Day in the village. Mcdull's famous "Baoshan" is one of the main activities of this grand ceremony, but unfortunately, this event lasted for five days, and that day was the last day, and no "Baoshan" project was seen.

But I watched the lion dance performance with gongs and drums, and I also found the temple where people worship Buddha in king of comedy. Bustling, the shrine is full of incense burners and neat suckling pigs.

▲ At lunch, I saw the workers tearing down the door of the temporary theater for the ceremony, and immediately thought of the movie "Dumb Birthday" by Liu Qingyun, Jacklyn Wu and Wong Tze Wah. Mr. Liu Qingyun was hit by such a collapsed bamboo door. ...

▲ This is Gu Dezhao's film in 1995. Liu Qingyun is cute as hell, Jacklyn Wu is neurotic and invincible, and Wong Tze Wah is even more mean.

It took me nearly a day to go to Shek O (I accidentally slept on the beach for 2 hours). For me, who can only enter the country for 7 days at a time, there is no regret.
