How to use Canon RS-60E3 cable?

Plug in cable release, and the button on the shutter line is exactly the same as the photo confirmation button on the camera body!

For example, half-press autofocus is the same as the button on the fuselage!

The purpose of cable release is to avoid camera shake when the shutter is pressed by hand.
