Without cleaning tools, the lens was wet by the waves when shooting. How to deal with it urgently? Can we continue shooting after processing?
If you don't have cleaning tools, you can use napkins or cotton clothes with soft and flat surfaces.
Stain wiping
Suck up the water on the mirror surface and lens surface, pay attention to sucking up and down, and don't air it left and right. Don't try to dry in the sun The lens adopts optical glass lenses, and the image sensor in the fuselage also adopts photosensitive materials. They are all sensitive to light. If exposed to the sun for a long time, it is likely to cause permanent damage.
After the water on the lens surface is drained, you can put the camera in a safe and ventilated place to dry. Because it is at the seaside, we should pay attention to the influence of wind and sand on the beach. So can we shoot again after the processing is completed? I think if it is handled properly and timely, the lens itself has a certain degree of waterproof and dripping function, so it should be no problem. Unless the sea is fierce and almost drowns the lens, you should immediately stop all shooting activities and send them to a professional camera repair shop for processing, otherwise it is really easy to waste.
If you are not sure whether there is water in the lens, you can go to a safe and windless place, such as behind a big stone, and then take off the lens. Pay attention to the tail of the lens facing down, and shake it gently twice to see if there is any water coming out. If not, look inside the camera with your eyes. You can adjust the zoom lens to see if there is anything abnormal inside. If not, everything will be fine! Once the abnormality is found, it is best not to shoot again, but to send it to a special camera repair shop for professional treatment to prevent future troubles.
In fact, under normal circumstances, photographers will carry some lens protection equipment, just in case. If they don't carry it for some reason, they must observe the surrounding environment in advance before shooting to ensure safety. If it is unavoidable, it is best not to shoot alone. You should complete the shooting task with your partner and let others help you to be alert to potential dangers. I'm Chen Hong, the headline photographer. Welcome to like and pay attention!
