What school is Xiamen Medical College?

Xiamen Medical College is a full-time public undergraduate school located in Xiamen, Fujian Province. The school was formerly known as Xiamen Nursing School, Xiamen Physician School and Xiamen Midwifery School. 1953, due to the weak faculty of medical schools in this area, the three schools integrated and established Fujian Xiamen Health School, which is a municipal secondary school. In 2007, it was renamed Xiamen Medical College with the approval of the Ministry of Education, and Xiamen Medical College was established with the approval of the Ministry of Education in March 20 16.

As of February, 2023, the school campus covers a total area of 885 mu (including 520 mu of existing campus area and 365 mu of land for the second phase), with a total construction area of 284,000 square meters, and the total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment is nearly 400 million yuan. The library has 7 1.5 million books and 557,000 kinds of electronic books, including1/kloc-0. There are 15 undergraduate majors and 9 specialist majors, with 2,953 faculty members (including 2 directly affiliated hospitals), including 474 full-time teachers, with a total of 86,600 students.
