A New Weapon for Early Detection of Coronary Heart Disease and Lung Cancer: 640 Computed Tomography

Heart disease is the second of the top ten causes of death in China, among which coronary artery disease accounts for the majority, and calcification is the early feature of atherosclerosis. Once calcification is deposited, it will block blood vessels and form coronary heart disease over time. In order to find symptoms as early as possible, the Medical Imaging Center of the General Hospital of the Three Armies introduced 640 computerized tomography scanners, which can not only reduce the radiation dose and shorten the examination time, but also improve the image quality and the detection rate of subtle lesions. It is an excellent tool for image inspection at present.

The scanning range of 640-train computed tomography scanner is 16 cm, which takes only 0.275 seconds. It can not only cover the whole heart, but also complete the scanning with only one heartbeat, which greatly reduces the image artifacts caused by the heartbeat and the interference caused by the subject's breathing on the image.

640-row computed tomography improves the detection rate of early lung cancer.

This instrument not only has great advantages over other low-level models in cardiac coronary angiography, but also has outstanding image performance in lung disease screening and low-dose lung computed tomography. 640-row computed tomography (CT) scanner adopts the latest micro-dose image reconstruction and 3D radiation automatic control technology. By combining extremely fine image slices with longitudinal and coronal images, pulmonary nodules can be detected, which greatly improves the detection rate of early lung cancer and reduces the radiation dose of the subjects.

The unveiling ceremony of "Computerized Tomography of 640 Medical Imaging Center" was held on June 5th+10/October 8th+5th, 2005 in the General Hospital of the Three Armies, and was unveiled by Chen Jiantong, Director of the Military Medical Bureau, and Dean Cai, Zheng, Zheng and Chen of the General Hospital of the Three Armies. According to the statistics of the Ministry of Health 17, lung cancer ranks first in the mortality rate of malignant tumors. Because the early symptoms are not obvious, most of the symptoms such as cough, dyspnea and even bone pain are in the end stage. If early detection and treatment can be carried out at an early stage, the long-term survival rate can be greatly improved.

The opening ceremony of "Computerized Tomography of Medical Imaging Center 640" was held on June 5438+1October 08, 2008 in the General Hospital of the Three Armies. Chen Jiantong, director of the Military Medical Bureau, and Dean Cai, Executive Dean Zheng, Vice President Zheng and Vice President Chen of the General Hospital of the Three Armies jointly unveiled the ceremony to provide better medical services for patients and the people.
