Tourist attractions in Dianjun District

Moggi is located in wulong village, the sub-district office of Dianjun, with Caijiaya in the east and Hujiataizi in the south. The east-west span is 600 meters, the north-south span is 1000 meters, the altitude is 2 19.7 meters, and the total park area is 12 1 hectare, which is the highest point in the main urban area of Yichang. Moggi was called Gushan in ancient times, also known as Gedao Mountain. During the Three Kingdoms period, the Wu Dong regime built a earthen city under this mountain to resist the West Shu. When Jin Dynasty wanted to climb this mountain, it was called "seeing the Yangtze River like a wild goose" (Volume II of Yiling County Records). Since 1950s, after the excavation of Neolithic cultural sites in Lijiahe and Ziyang River, strange stone artists have come to the forest to cross the river to Wulong for many times, and collected ancient human objects such as stone axes, stone castings, pottery pieces and tripod feet at the foot of Moji Mountain. These objects were identified by archaeologists as the remains of the first and second phases of Daxi culture.

chexi folk scenic area

The Three Gorges Chexi Tujia Folk Tourist Area is a national AAAA-level tourist area, one of the "Top Ten Scenic Areas" and "Ten Scenery of the New Three Gorges" in Hubei Province, and the only folk tourist area in the Three Gorges area of Hubei Province. Chexi is a tourism product with Tujia folk culture, farming culture and people's commune history and culture as the main carriers, and it is a characteristic tourist area with unique natural landscape and human landscape.

The Three Gorges Chexi Tujia Folk Tourism Scenic Area consists of ten scenic spots: Shixian Valley, Bachu Hometown Garden, Three Gorges Folk Village, Farmers Museum, Waterwheel Museum, People's Commune Site Museum (Tujia Museum), Tianlong Yundong, Kistler Museum, Wind Tunnel and Forgetting Valley. The whole journey 10 km, with a total area of 20 square kilometers.

Mingcuigu

Cui Minggu is located in the south of Gezhouba Dam, Ziyang Village, Dianjun District, Yichang City, and is a national AAA scenic spot.

Wenfoshan scenic spot

Wenfoshan is located at the junction of Nanmuxi Village and Dabai Village in Penglian Township, Dianjun District. Named for building a Buddhist temple on the top of the mountain. Because of its border with Yichang, Yidu and Changyang, it is said that "one foot in three counties". The scenic spot consists of karst cave area, forest tea area, Buddhist culture area and ecological landscape area of Daxi Valley Corridor. There are eight scenic spots in the scenic area, including ancient archway, Buddhist temple, tea ceremony hall, forest of steles, folk village, botanical garden, resort and brave adventure club.

Huziyan Moyan Sculpture

Huziyan Cliff carved on a mountainside in Group 2, Huangjiapeng Village, Qiaobian Town was built in the late Western Han Dynasty and early Eastern Han Dynasty. There are seven stone carvings of ancient monks and a Guanyin statue in the cave, and there are also several various patterns engraved on the rock wall. The inscription "Rebuilding the Ancient Road" is the main road connecting Jingchu in the south of the Three Gorges.

Xiaoziyan

Xiaoziyan is located in Shi Lihong Village, Dianjun District. Jiangxi Shi (now called Juanqiao River) enters the north bank of the estuary and faces Zhenchuan Gate across the river. The rock wall is about 440 meters long, with the Yangtze River in the northeast and the river in the southeast, all of which are cliffs. The highest altitude is 89. 1 m.
