Gujing West Road takes "Xishan Road" as the main line, connecting the north and south branches, of which Middle Road, South Road and North Road are its main components. Numerous magical stories such as ancient beacon smoke, ethnic exchanges, religious activities, the fortification of the city and the ancient road, and the thin horse in the west wind are scattered or left on both sides of the ancient road. It is a concrete symbol of the economy and culture of that era, from which we can deeply feel the changes of the times and the pace of history. Gujing West Road has a history of thousands of years, and its rich cultural heritage and splendid Yongding River basin culture have become brilliant.

654.38 million+years ago, there were human activities in Xishan, Beijing. Mentougou District is bordered by the valley in the north, Zhuo Yi in the south, Dai Di in the west and Yanji in the east, and its strategic position and traffic status are very important. Since the capital of the Yellow Emperor was established one year ago, the "mountain passage" began in Xishan, and Xishan Road has been renovated repeatedly, becoming a large-scale Guanshan Avenue. Most of these projects are raised by NGOs and built by local people. The long ancient road in Mentougou District twists and turns, which constitutes an unparalleled cultural spectacle that keeps pace with nature. From business travel to temple fair sacrifice, from offensive and defensive to trade, from ancient capital construction to national cultural exchange, if there is anything that can be connected across time and space? Only these ancient roads hidden in the mountains.

Guancheng, built in Feng 'an Pass, still exists today. On the west side of Guancheng is a flat land, which is the site of Fengkou Temple and Mawang Temple. Horses are the gods of large livestock and the main means of transportation in mountainous areas. So there are many Mawang temples in Xishan, Beijing. There are four stone tablets here. First, in the forty-two years of Qing Qianlong (1777), Yongfu Infinite Monument was published. Guanfeng Guancheng was originally a tax collector on the ancient road. In order to ensure the coal supply in Beijing, the government specially stipulated that the coal transportation tax should be exempted, and this monument was erected. The second is the inscription on Dongxishan Road of Fengkou Temple rebuilt in the 14th year of Daoguang. According to the inscription, it was officials who donated money to build roads at that time, and it was the people who gave up the land, which can be said to be jointly built by the government and the people. The other two monuments are Fengkou Temple Monument in the reign of Emperor Guangwu of Qing Dynasty (1834) and Xufengkou Temple Deshan Monument in the second year of Xianfeng (1852).
