Tip: The cement dado can be removed. Before tiling, the process of napping should be carried out, that is, small holes should be made on the cement surface, and then wall treasures should be used to improve the bonding ability between cement and tiles.
5, crack repair
There are generally four reasons for cracks in the wall: first, if the house is a high-rise townhouse, workers dig construction holes between the walls to transport building materials during construction, and then fill them with foam bricks or light bricks later. Remind the owner that there may be cracks between the foam brick and the wall, which will cause the wall to crack in the future; Second, it is also possible that when the house was just built, the putty was scraped too thick or brushed before it was dry. After a long time, reticulate cracks will appear, and in severe cases, the wall skin will fall off; Third, the exterior walls of some units face the road and are greatly influenced by the outdoor environment. Cement, sand and steel bars in the wall expand with the change of temperature, contract when it is cold, and cracks appear in the inner wall. Fourth, it will appear on the wall built later. Whether it is a large core board, lightweight brick or gypsum board, cracks will definitely appear in this wall within six months to one year, and it needs to be repaired later.
