To this end, I am nervous every day, hoping to learn more knowledge and grow up quickly. At the same time, people are becoming more and more anxious.

It was not until I saw the book "If we are destined to be ordinary people" that I suddenly realized that everyone's life is a chicken feather. We work hard all day, but it runs counter to real life.

In the 1950' s, Adi was born in a poor family in Hong Kong, and his parents had no money for him to finish high school. In order to complete his studies, Adi began to work in construction sites and factories at the age of thirteen, thus earning every penny he needed for his study and life.

When Adi was fourteen or fifteen years old, one summer, he went to work in a construction site, doing the hardest work of rolling iron. On a hot summer day, Adi needs great strength to roll hot steel together.

A worker once asked him: You are just a child, why do you choose the hardest and most tiring iron rolling job? Adi replied: Just because it is a very profitable job-you can earn $3,000 a month.

During the non-summer vacation, Adi attended classes during the day from Monday to Friday, worked in the shoe factory at night, and cleaned the electronics factory on Saturday and Sunday for ten years until he graduated from college.

Tagore once said: Faith is a bird. It feels the light and sings when the dawn is still dark. After so many human hardships, Adi finally lived his dream life as he wished.

I used to be a primary school teacher, teaching English and art, and also worked as a primary school principal 15 years. Adi worked in a primary school for 38 years and retired at the age of 60.

Adi made two lists for his retirement, one is where he wants to go and the other is what he wants to do. A few, there are no fewer than fifty places I want to go, and there are several pages of things I want to do.

After three years of planning, Adi ushered in his retirement day and officially started his second life after retirement, but he didn't expect that the plan that had been going smoothly was different because of an "accident".

He happened to see photos of cafes sent by his former colleagues, with his back to Cangshan and his face to Erhai. Adi had never experienced them before, so he came to Dali, Yunnan, and came to this beautiful village.

Adi always encourages his two sons to play more, go to different places and meet different people. So they all went to Australia to work and travel.

The eldest son has worked and traveled in Australia and New Zealand for two years, and now he has returned to Hong Kong, doing his favorite job-photography. Xiaoerzi has just graduated from university and is now working and traveling in Australia.

Adi became friends with A Xing, a 22-year-old manager, while volunteering in a cafe.

A Xing also learned a lot from Adi. He watched Adi go to every place in advance to welcome his family to go to dali. Watching him write postcards to his friends and send sincere wishes; We also worked together in the fields and discussed how to weed, turn over the soil and cultivate the land. ...

Adi, a sunny, optimistic and cheerful retired man with white hair and beard, always smiles, just like Santa Claus. Today, he lives leisurely in Dali, living a life of "facing the sea and blooming in spring".

Perhaps some people will question: Can primary school principals and education experts spend the rest of their lives in mediocrity by volunteering in cafes?

But who stipulates that a mediocre life is worthless?

If we are destined to be ordinary people, then in the long river of years, keeping what we love in our hearts and accepting our own ordinary is the greatest practice in our short life!
