Where does R&F eggplant belong?

Fuli eggplant is a specialty of Fuli Town, Liling City, Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province. R&F eggplant is delicious in color, thin and tender, and resistant to humidity and low temperature. It is generally listed in mid-April. It is one of the earliest listed bases in Hunan and even the Yangtze River Basin. The eggplant produced not only meets the local market, but also is exported to Changsha, Zhuzhou and Xiangtan and domestic and foreign markets.

Fuli Town is located in the northeast of Liling, bordering Shangli County, Jiangxi Province in the east and Liuyang City in the north. Early-maturing eggplant was planted from 1990. After nearly 20 years of development, a relatively large commodity vegetable base has been initially formed, and the planting area has gradually developed from the initial Aokou village to Cheche, Limin and Huabu villages. In 2009, the planting area has reached more than 2,500 mu.

While the planting area is increasing year by year, the scientific and technological content is constantly improving, from the original greenhouse planting to the planting of "greenhouse+small arch shed+plastic film mulching". New technical measures, such as seedling raising in nutrient pots, eggplant grafting and hormone protection of flowers and fruits, have been widely used. The yield per mu of eggplant can reach more than 4,000 kilograms, and the yield per mu can reach 0.8-10.00 million yuan. R&F eggplant base and products have passed pollution-free certification.
