Male, pen name Qishan, 1948 was born in Jing County, Hengshui, Hebei Province, Dong Zhongshu's hometown. Mr. Gu Fengqi loved poetry, photography and calligraphy since childhood, and studied under the famous calligrapher Mr. Du Kai. In his early years, he devoted himself to studying Liu Bingsen's thousand-character writings, clearing Huang Ziyuan's regular script, and studying Jiucheng Palace in Ou Yangxun, Duota in Yan Zhenqing and Preface to the Lanting by Wang Xizhi. Systematically study Jin Wen Ding, Oracle Bone Inscriptions, hieroglyphics and ancient characters, understand the transformation process of regular script, running script, cursive script and official script, and repeatedly try to figure out and copy the masterpieces handed down by ancient and modern people such as Su Shi, Zhu Suiliang, Huang Tingjian, Liu Haisu, Fan Ceng, Li Keran and Qi Gong. The heyday of calligraphy creation benefited from the care of Mr. Chen Hanbin, vice chairman of the National Health System Calligraphy Association, and Mr. Xu Yunfei, a famous calligrapher. Mr. Gu Fengqi worked in the Civil Defense Office of Hengshui Municipal People's Government in Hebei Province. Member of Hengshui Federation of Literary and Art Circles. Since 2006, some works have won gold and silver prizes in various competitions, and a 3600mm× 1400mm Preface to Lanting has won the largest prize in China. This work won the Silver Award in the 9th Shanghai International Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition and the Gold Award in the National Calligraphy Competition of Beijing Qingda Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Institute. Many Lanting Prefaces have entered the contemporary strength of 20 1 1.
