What do you think is the life gap between the rural elderly and the urban elderly?

Personally, there is a big gap between the life of the rural elderly and that of the urban elderly, mainly in the following aspects.

First of all, in terms of living conditions, most houses where rural elderly people live need their own heating in winter. Although this kind of house has running water and power supply facilities like the city, it has no gas, and cooking also requires gas tanks or induction cookers. Moreover, the houses where the rural elderly live are not maintained as the urban elderly do.

Secondly, in terms of income, most urban elderly people have pensions, while rural elderly people rely more on their own farming or children's support. From the perspective of income, the income level of urban elderly is much higher than that of rural elderly.

In terms of daily cultural life, the elderly in cities are relatively richer. They can conveniently go to the library of urban concept to read books, read newspapers or participate in some square dance and photography activities in their own communities. For the elderly in rural areas, this aspect is also relatively scarce.

Of course, compared with the elderly in cities, the elderly in rural areas can enjoy the beautiful scenery and fresh air in their daily lives and eat their own vegetables and fruits. Therefore, for rural elderly and urban elderly, they can experience the beauty and convenience of life separately.
