Behind-the-scenes Production of Bird Watching Year

Although there is a certain "bird watching foundation" and "bird watching enthusiasm", from a technical point of view, it is still difficult to shoot "Year of Bird Watching". The novel describes what happened in a year, which is a bit long for the film. In order to shoot different scenery and some birds all year round, the crew started shooting in North America according to the route in the novel. In order to present a sense of reality in the film, I walked thousands of miles and traveled all over the United States.

In this film, shooting people and scenery is actually very simple, and the most difficult problem is shooting birds. Because I am not a professional photographer, it is difficult to take beautiful photos of birds. There won't be so many birds during the filming, so I used a lot of documentary material and edited it into the movie. The director also hired some people to shoot birds, because some birds will appear in the filming, so there are also many real shots in the film. Finally, the scene of birds flying to the North American continent in droves is actually made by computer. In order to shoot this film, the crew shot different scenes every day from Florida to California and from new york to Canada.
