When shooting, if people are looking in the mirror and want to take pictures of the people in the mirror, why can't they see the photographer in the mirror?
The principle is this. If you are interested, you will see it clearly.
If it is a flat mirror, according to the reflection theory, the incident angle of the light reflected by the mirror is equal to the reflection angle (this angle refers to the angle between the object and the reflected light and the vertical line of the mirror); If the object is closer to the vertical line of the mirror, the incident angle is smaller, the reflection angle is smaller, and the incident light and the reflected light are closer, so that the person who looks in the mirror can see himself in the mirror.
The reflected light can return according to this optical path. It means that you can see the object or the subject in the mirror, and at the same time you can see that you are shooting from the subject's point of view.
Seeing your portrait in the mirror from the lens is because the photographer is too close to the vertical line of the mirror, so you can avoid seeing your reflection when you walk to the side. After reaching the side, you should follow the principle of reversibility of reflected light and arrange the subject in a symmetrical position relative to the vertical line at the center of the mirror. This way, you can take pictures of others looking in the mirror instead of yourself.
Generally speaking, for people and photographers with small side dimensions, the incident angle is about 45 degrees.
The convex mirror is the same as the concave mirror principle, except that the vertical line will change along the curved surface, so it may be difficult to find a position that completely avoids the photographer being photographed. However, the photographer's image can be prevented from appearing in the picture through framing, composition, cropping and later darkroom or software processing.
