What is a normal tone?

Black-and-white photosensitive materials record three kinds of images: black, white and gray, and the contrast of tones is the focus of black-and-white photography.

Want to be special. Tone has two meanings: first, it refers to the different brightness of the object surface in black and white photosensitive materials.

Layers formed on materials-black, white, gray and the layers between these three main layers.

Transition level. The second refers to the tone of the whole picture. Black and white photos pay attention to color tones, and a work goes hand in hand.

If it is ugly, it is not artistic. According to the different colors, photographic works are mainly divided into three categories.

Type, that is, high-profile, low-key, middle.

The hue distribution of the hue modulation zone system is 10, in which the darkest zone is 0, the middle zone is 5, and District 9 is the brightest zone. Expose+1 ev every 1 region from1region, so that * * distributes 9EV in the whole tone modulation region system. It is worth remembering that zone 5 is exactly 18% gray level, which is also the basis for the exposure of the camera automatic metering system.

10 order indicates the hue distribution in the shooting scene:

Zone 0: all black. Also known as tonal black.

1 area: almost black. Shadows in dim light. Illuminated indoor space, in most cases, the color tone is the same as that of area 0.

Zone 2: gray and black. Can only hint at the surface texture.

Zone 3: black ash. The surface texture is shaded, the black line and tissue structure are clearly visible, and the texture of the dark line is very clear.

Zone 4: dark gray. Dark "black" skin (as in Africa). Dark leaves, shadows of landscapes or buildings.

Zone 5: medium gray. 18% gray. Dark "white" skin, bright "black" skin, weathered wood, bright leaves, the deepest blue in the clear sky.

Zone 6: light gray and medium gray. Generally high-gloss "white" skin, the shadow on the snow scene is in the bright sunshine.

Zone 7: light gray. Pale "white" skin, sidewalks in the sun, and the surface texture of light-colored fabrics can be seen.

Zone 8: light gray. Almost white, the surface looks like snow under plane light or sunshine on a white wall.

Zone 9: Pure paper white that cannot express texture. Snow in the sun is also called white tone.

I think everything that seems to be coordinated is normal, and there is no rule that it is normal.
