Chen Qiquan's life
After the Spring Festival in 2000, I sent a letter to the professor with the article "The Legend of Han Baoyu", and asked Mr. Wang to take time to come to Korea Normal University. On June 4th of the same year, Professor Chen wrote back and listed the activities in mainland China during the summer vacation. On July 27th, I took Professor Chen and his wife and lady to Shantou, first visited the Ding couple and Huang Chanying, then went to Korea Normal University together, met with the leaders of the college, visited the embassy of Korea Normal University and the photography showroom, and gave Ze a lesson on the title of the book. Mo Bao, respected by his teacher, gave his alma mater a souvenir. After that, in contact, Professor Chen expressed his willingness to present calligraphy works to his alma mater.
In mid-August, 2000, Professor Chen Qiquan's calligraphy exhibition was held in China Art Museum. More than a dozen media in Beijing reported on this cross-strait high-level cultural exchange, which caused a great sensation. Subsequently, Professor Chen's calligraphy works exhibited in Beijing were exhibited by Meizhou Federation of Literary and Art Circles and Fengshun Federation of Literary and Art Circles from September to September. Professor Chen sent me a batch of invitations to invite college leaders to visit. Vice President and Minister Wu Weicheng and I were invited to attend the opening ceremony.
In June, 20001,Professor Chen wrote to inform him that he would come to Shantou in late July to discuss holding calligraphy lectures at his alma mater and establishing a special library to promote calligraphy education. On September 6th, Professor Chen gathered in Weinan Building to give a lecture on calligraphy with the theme of "Essence and profound knowledge of calligraphy", which was attended by more than 300 teachers, students and Chaozhou calligraphy lovers. In the two-hour lecture, Professor Chen not only talked about calligraphy skills, but also talked about life philosophy and literary accomplishment. He also demonstrated while teaching, which is a vivid expression of calligraphy's excellent moral character and art.
On August 9, 2002, Mr. Chen Qiquan, his wife and Mr. Zhang Yuehua visited our school and formally presented a batch of personal calligraphy supplies to our alma mater for the college to set up Chen Qiquan's bookstore in the new library.
After the Spring Festival in 2003, Chen Qiquan and his wife visited the school again and took the drawings of the hall on the seventh floor of the museum to Taiwan Province Province for experts to design. I plan to go to the hospital to personally guide the decoration and exhibition of the exhibition hall during the summer vacation. In June of the same year, Professor Chen sent the decoration design of the bookstore for the first time. In late July, I called Professor Chen many times, but I couldn't get through. Later, I contacted Professor Chen's granddaughter in Anbu and learned that Professor Chen was unfortunately ill and hospitalized. Dean Xue and I both called to express our condolences. Professor Chen plans to go to his alma mater for an exhibition before the celebration after being discharged from hospital for a period of rest. First, please ask Professor Tsung i Jao to give a title to Chen Qiquan's bookstore. Later, based on his alma mater Chen Qiquan Bookstore, he promoted calligraphy education. Chen Qiquan started from Han Shi in Chaoshan, went to Taiwan Province and the world, and became a master of calligraphy. He will return to Han Shi, Chaozhou, inherit China's calligraphy, and spread China's calligraphy art to his descendants and all parts of the motherland.
Unexpectedly, Professor Chen was seriously ill in hospital. After many contacts, Ms. Chen told Professor Chen that it was difficult to leave the hospital to attend the centenary celebration of her alma mater. Entrusted me to contact his granddaughter-in-law, and went to Professor Chen's apartment on 10/2 to deliver the calligraphy works presented by Professor Chen to the college. Later, together with Minister Wu Weicheng, he cooperated with the teachers and students of the Art Department to arrange exhibitions, and printed the color pages of all bookstores in Chen Qi for publicity.
The lady needs to take care of Professor Chen who is in hospital. On the morning of 10 19, she left Taiwan Province for Hongkong and arrived in Shantou. She asked me to wait until she arrived at the hospital at 3 pm that day to further adjust and improve the layout of the bookstore. She has been busy until 7 pm to ensure that the bookstore opens as scheduled on the anniversary. That night, Ms. Zhang informed me
Professor Chen's illness expects him to recover soon and return to his alma mater, Korea Normal University, to inherit the art of calligraphy, but she is also mentally prepared. In case Professor Chen recovers from illness, she will inherit Professor Chen's responsibility of promoting calligraphy and Taoism, and hold calligraphy lectures based on the Chen Qi Library of Han Normal University to promote calligraphy education and China culture.
On 20031February 15, Professor Chen Qiquan passed away. After learning the news of Professor Chen's death, the Dean and I both called to express our condolences to Ms. Zhang and wrote a mourning article in the name of Dean Xue.
On February 27th, 2004/KLOC-0 and February 27th, 2004, Ms. Wang wrote twice, and attached a calligraphy lecture scheme of "I voluntarily promoted it" and "based on Mr. Chen's idea and rejuvenating our excellent Chinese culture". Please ask me to convey the support of the leaders of the college. I handed Ms. Zhang's letter and the plan to hold a calligraphy lecture to Dean Xue. Dean Xue decided that the college office and the propaganda department should cooperate with the library to handle this matter. After the establishment of the alumni liaison office, this work should be undertaken by the college office, the alumni liaison office, the propaganda department and the library.
Ms. Zhang Yuehua was hired as a professor of Chen Qiquan Bookstore in Hanshi Normal University, giving lectures on calligraphy on a voluntary basis. Ms. Zhang, Professor Gao Zu of Chen Qiquan, Taiwan Province calligraphers Weng Kunshan, Xie Zhiyuan and other colleagues served as the keynote speakers of calligraphy lectures.
In the summer vacations of 2004 and 2005, three consecutive calligraphy lectures were held, and more than 500 students took part in calligraphy learning, which made remarkable achievements. (Details have been summarized by the organizer and are omitted here. Taking Chen Qiquan Bookstore as the base, holding calligraphy lectures to jointly promote China culture has become the characteristic and new highlight of Korean teachers' traditional culture education.
