Is the flat-head tower crane easy to operate?

This is the tower crane of Zhonglian TC56 10 that I have driven, with the hook in the fifth gear, the boom in the fourth gear and the trolley in the third gear.

This is my Zhonglian TC70 15 tower crane. It has five gears for the hook and three gears for the trolley. The boom has no gear, similar to the throttle of a motorcycle.

Personally, tower cranes are almost the same, and practice makes perfect. The service life and wear procedure of the same tower crane are different in different operation methods, so you have to explore for yourself to adapt to the tower crane.

Before you are familiar with the operation, try to gradually transition from one gear to another, and try not to use high gear.

I guess you should focus on the big arm? The first gear is slow, but if you keep it in the first gear for about 3 seconds, the speed will increase. The boom 1~2 gear is enough, and there is no need to use a high gear.

If the car has three gears, pay attention to the amplitude of the hook jitter when using the gear, and at least use the second gear to follow the hook, because the first gear is too slow.

Generally, the speed of the hook will be very fast when it is engaged in the fifth gear, and it needs to be lowered in the first gear. If you shift to neutral immediately, the hook will slip. It is suggested to change to the third gear around the ground 10 meter. If you feel slow, you can point to the fourth gear, otherwise it will be too late for the commander to stop the hook.
