Works by Gao Wen'an and Steve Leung

I am far from being able to comment on the two design masters. I am just lucky enough to participate in the practice of their works. The company I work for is very powerful and can afford to hire any company in the world. Design companies and designers serve us, including Wilson, HBA, JWDC, BLD, PAL, etc., who have cooperated with us. Here I will also talk about my thoughts on their two works based on the matter, which is purely a personal point of view.

Mr. Liang designed two houses for us, high-end serviced apartment display model rooms. Mr. Liang is a master of model houses, and many of his works have won awards. Judging from the feedback from our model houses, people engaged in design, literature and art, and even the entertainment industry all like it very much, and have received unanimous praise from their peers. It should be said that it has a high artistic content. Displayed at the same time as Mr. Liang’s work is the delivery sample that we modified based on Mr. Liang’s work. What is mainly retained in the delivery sample is functional partitioning and space optimization, and the materials and shapes are almost completely different. Our delivery prototypes have been a huge success, both in terms of customer feedback and sales promotion.

Although our kitsch modification has achieved great success in business, we cannot deny that Mr. Liang gave us a good foundation. Reasonable functional division is the basis of good interior design.

In our display sample, one of the characteristics of Mr. Liang’s works is: simple but not simple; the lines are simple and straight, but every line is where it should be. , after rigorous scrutiny. As soon as you try to move a seemingly unimportant line, it will feel misaligned. Everywhere you can smell the smell of careful grinding.

Characteristic 2. Rigorous but not serious. There is nothing obtrusive in his works. There are no relative problems such as being too big or too small, or the colors being too bright, too plain, etc. They always feel just right. Furniture and accessories all have a sense of order. Their materials and colors are part of the entire room. Even the reflection and projection of the materials have an indispensable feeling. However, in the fine changes, there is a kind of relaxation and casualness. . The calm and peaceful colors make people calm down easily.

Mr. Liang’s works are infused with his own temperament and are a reflection of his understanding of aesthetics. I have seen many of his works. Sometimes you can tell it's his just by looking at it. He is doing his own style...Liang style.

My overall evaluation of these two model houses is that they are excellent engineering works in the field of interior design.

Gao Wen’an has three model houses in our company, which are entirely for display. There are also two feelings in Mr. Gao's works. One: Relax but not indulge: Mr. Gao’s works have exaggerated colors, rich materials, and do not stick to any particular form. They are the product of the fusion of cultures and ideas. As you walk around, you will see the changing light and shadow, the interesting furnishings, the elegant lines... There seems to be a magical spice igniting in the house, taking you into a dream-like state; if you look closely, there is no materialistic and luxurious indulgence. Some are just insights into understanding life.

Second: Confidence but not ego: The work looks very casual and unrestrained, with large areas of red and black and mature wood colors together, simple geometric figures and complex Southeast Asian wood carvings. . It reflects Mr. Gao's superb ability to grasp space and color, and his self-confidence beyond ordinary people. But the whole feeling is that you are willing to accept it, and you are not forced to accept it. He tells you a way of life.

Overall evaluation: A vivid work of art.
