His weather-beaten face is dark, and years have left a deep mark on his face. Looking at it, I heard a person next to me say that this is Northeast Street. Unexpectedly, 20 years ago, Yangqu was so poor and backward. An old man said that it used to be poor here. The village is full of rotten earth walls and broken tile houses. The room is dark and damp, and the place is very small. Some houses are made of asbestos shingles, linoleum and straw. The ground in the house is all loess. After a long time, people use brooms to sweep out large and small pits. On rainy days, the yard and village roads are covered with mud. When you walk down, your shoes will get stuck in it and never come out. People can't afford to burn coal when cooking. Cotton stalks, corn stalks and rotten leaves are burned most of the year. The drinking well is dozens of feet deep, and there are many thick hemp ropes used to draw water. People with little strength can't lift it. In case of drought, there is no water in the well, so people have to go to the distant reservoir to pull water. Sometimes when it rains, people cook in the rain. On rainy days, the house often leaks rain, and winter can't stop the wind. In winter, although the heatable adobe sleeping platform burns very hot, the biting cold wind blows in from the four walls, which makes people's ears numb and they have to bury their heads under the covers.

As we walked further inside, a group of photos came into view: Yangqu on the road to getting rich. In the photo, people are harvesting millet in the field, and the golden ears of millet hang their heads heavily. People are smiling on their red faces. It seems like a bumper harvest year! In another photo, on a wide dirt road, a group of white sheep were driven away by an old farmer in his 500 s. The sheep ran carefree, and the old farmer smiled foolishly. In another photo, a young man came back with a color TV in a four-wheeled agricultural vehicle, and many people around him watched with envy. A fellow tourist said that when they were young, they had to walk more than ten miles at night to see a movie. After the reform and opening up, people in the village who have the means have bought TVs one after another. At that time, buying a 16-inch black-and-white TV was a happier thing than Chinese New Year. In another photo, two-story buildings have sprung up, the walls are made of red bricks, the roads inside and outside the house and in the village are all hardened with cement, and some houses are still covered with bright big floor tiles. The house is spacious, the living room is big, and there are kitchens and bathrooms. Adults and children have their own rooms. A teacher pointed to the photo and said that at this time, it is not necessary to burn corn stalks for cooking. As long as you call, the coal delivery man will deliver the coal to your door. Every household has running water, so it is no longer necessary to cook and wash your face with that yellow mud water. People also have money, and every household is a professional household. Orchards, vegetable gardens and greenhouse vegetables have an annual income of nearly 10,000 yuan. We also visited Yangqu Today: the panoramic view of the county: high-rise buildings rise from the ground, asphalt roads extend in all directions, and high-speed railways and highways, such as Yinlong, are really spectacular. A "pedestrian street at night": the lights are flashing and there are various shops on both sides. People come to the pedestrian street for a walk and dance after dinner? Pedestrian street is really a carnival for people. A close-up of "Xinyanglou" attracted me: the golden Xinyanglou, illuminated by colorful sunset clouds, changed from unrestrained rose to dreamy purple, and then turned into soft goose yellow, just as beautiful as rendering in a dream. A "Qinglong Ancient Town": Qinglong Ancient Town with a history of hundreds of years has a thick and restrained character like a city wall. From the moment you look at the photo, you seem to have entered the tunnel of time. Well-preserved ancient walls, buildings with the legacy of Ming and Qing Dynasties, as well as markets, ticket houses, escort agencies, pawn shops and temples, can not help but make people yearn for its glorious years and look up to its light as piously as a scared pilgrim. The teacher in the same trade said that it was rebuilt on the old site of Qinglong Ancient Town by Yangqu County Government, which spent hundreds of millions of yuan. A "South River Park", a big lotus pond, round and green lotus leaves covered the whole water surface, and the blossoming lotus flowers were extremely charming. The tourists by the pool are taking a leisurely walk. How many children are playing?

Beautiful yangqu, my hometown, the mountains here are towering and straight, the water here is moist and pure, and the people here are hardworking and simple. I love our beautiful yangqu!
