What is the characteristic shooting of long focal length lens?

The shooting effect mainly has five characteristics.

1. Small viewing angle

Compared with the standard lens, the telephoto lens is characterized by a smaller viewing angle at the same distance, so it can "enlarge" the distant scenery and make it full of smells. The advantage of telephoto lens comes out when shooting the distant view or not wanting to disturb the subject.

2. Small depth of field

The longer the focal length, the shallower the depth of field. The larger the aperture, the shallower the depth of field. The advantage of shallow depth of field is that it can highlight the subject and blur the background.

3. Large deformation

The telephoto lens can obviously compress the distortion of space, and greatly exaggerate the background, which will make the distance between the foreground and the background appear closer than the actual distance, and even feel close together, thus obviously reducing the sense of depth of space.

4. Slow focusing

The telephoto lens is greatly influenced by the absorption and scattering of light by air, so it is not easy to achieve accurate focusing. When shooting in autofocus mode, the focusing speed is slow.

5. Poor image quality

The contrast of the picture shot by telephoto lens is small, and it is easy to lose focus, which makes the generated picture image blurred. Because the telephoto lens assembly is heavy, it increases the instability of shooting, increases the camera vibration and causes image blur. In order to improve this situation, when shooting with a state telephoto lens, the shutter speed should be 1/250 seconds, and a tripod is needed to assist shooting to keep the camera stable. The larger the focal plane of the telephoto lens, the more difficult it is for the light of various colors to converge to one point, thus causing the problem of spectral separation and making the image quality of the taken photos not high.
