Most people on the roadside walk. Unlike China, there are no electric cars, mostly bicycles. The men here are dressed simply, and many of them are work clothes. Women are very fashionable. You can see many girls, all wearing high-heeled skirts and carrying bags. They look like modern women. I can feel that the architectural style here is bright and colorful, and the colors of almond cakes are matched. In addition, their pace of life is slow, more like our small county.

When you travel to North Korea, the tour guide will definitely introduce you to how many "best in the world" they have. The first is their subway. They have the deepest railway system in the world, with a depth of 100 meters and the deepest point of 200 meters. It can be called an underground bomb shelter. It takes three minutes to take the escalator down at Pyongyang Station, and the temperature is kept at around 20 degrees Celsius all the year round. It is said that China also provided financial and technical support for the subway construction, but the tour guide here didn't mention anything in the introduction, claiming that they built it independently.

The largest stadium is located on Lingluo Island in Datong River and was completed on 1 May, 9891. It is called Wuyi Stadium, with a total construction area of more than 200,000 square meters, which can accommodate150,000 people at the same time and has more than 80 exits. It is the venue for football matches in North Korea. In this venue,100000 people performed Arirang at the same time, and also won the Guinness World Record for "the largest gymnastics group performance". Although it has a long history, today, the parachute-like architectural style is quite in line with the aesthetics of modern people.

The highest Arc de Triomphe, located in the center of Pyongyang, was built in 1982 to celebrate North Korea's victory over the invaders twice and its independence. According to the tour guide, the Arc de Triomphe is 60 meters high and 52 meters wide, which is higher than the highest French Arc de Triomphe 10 meter. I found that they like to compare with other countries. The east and west sides of the Arc de Triomphe are carved with reliefs of Changbai Mountain, and the north and south sides depict the lyrics of the Korean folk song "Song of General Kim Il Sung".

The tallest hotel, one of the most famous landmarks in Pyongyang, was built in 1987 with a total height of 105 meters. This was indeed the tallest hotel at that time, but now it has become the most famous unfinished building. The hotel looks like a pyramid. The highest in the distance was funded by Egypt at that time, and it was later withdrawn for various reasons. It did not continue until 2008. Now that the exterior has been decorated, the interior may not be finished. Although the light is on now, it doesn't receive guests.

The highest memorial tower, the Tower of Subjective Thought, is located in the center of Pyongyang, near the Datong River, and promotes the subjective idea that "man is the master of his own destiny". It was built to celebrate the 70th birthday of their leader. The tower height170m is only one meter higher than the American Memorial Tower. There are statues of three people under the tower, representing workers, farmers and intellectuals respectively. The torch at the top of the tower can be lit and can be seen all over Pyongyang at night. It's also beautiful.
