Which is more professional, EF bayonet or PL bayonet?

The EF bayonet and PL bayonet of the camera are more professional. EF bayonet is the camera lens interface. You can connect the lens of a SLR camera. PL mount is a professional camera mount with interchangeable lenses (Arriflex 16 mm and 35 mm), not a camera mount. The interface can be a focal plane, which gradually becomes the standard of focal plane bayonet.

PL bayonet is made of stainless steel and titanium alloy, and the difference between them is only the weight:

1. PL bayonet made of stainless steel weighs 760 grams.

2. The PL bayonet made of titanium alloy weighs 460g, which is 300g lighter.

When the new machine leaves the factory (KineMOUNT+PL adapter), the flange distance has been adjusted. PL mount is suitable for KineMOUNT version of Kine camera.

Kine camera with EF bayonet cannot be converted into PL bayonet with it. This adapter can only be used with KineMOUNT version of Kine camera. The KineRAW of the native EF bayonet needs to be replaced by KineMOUNT to match the adapter. (Replacing KineMOUNT is a paid service).
