Cheap Ricoh camera, really no good lens? Do you know these three zoom lenses?
In fact, more than 20 years ago, I wrote an article about Ricoh lenses and recommended three Ricoh zoom lenses. This article was first posted on my website sy9 16, and was widely forwarded by netizens. I don't know how many "pirated" articles have been transferred.
But now I dare not post it myself, for fear of being identified as plagiarism, because my sy9 16 has stopped, and I can't "claim" my article even if I want to complain.
I wrote hundreds of articles about cameras in my early years, except photography books and periodicals, mainly online, but now many articles have changed hands and become others' "original".
When I was cleaning up, I found that I still had two Ricoh shots, which turned out to be two of the three shots I wrote in this article (collected after writing the article). I took some photos quickly. Now I dare to sort out this article and send it again. I dare not declare "originality" this time, for fear of causing unnecessary trouble.
The article is mainly about the past, but the pictures are new.
The following is the introduction of three Ricoh lenses I originally wrote:
The first time I used a Ricoh camera was more than ten years ago (now it has been more than thirty years). The company asked me to do publicity and gave me a Ricoh KR 10 camera.
The camera has a file, which is very convenient to handle, and I don't think it is much better than my original one. Soon, the company gave me a brand-name 28-200 zoom lens, which lasted for three years.
Later, I became more and more dissatisfied with the equipment in my hand. In the process of using Ricoh, I borrowed several original zoom lenses such as Ricoh 28- 105 and Ricoh 35-70. The overall feeling is average, and the production of the lens is relatively rough. In short, I have high taste and despise Ricoh.
Later, after I left my job, I bought a Nikon camera and lens.
1996, my friend Zhang called in Shanghai and said that he had a Ricoh camera with a constant zoom of 70-2 10/3.9. He asked me if I wanted it. At that time, I still had a lot of money at hand and a camera with PK port, so I let him send it.
When I got it, I felt really good. It was made of all-metal structure, with excellent workmanship, good feel and great weight. I remember that the price was 1 150 yuan, and the color was very new.
The first time I was in Shot, it took on a heavy responsibility and used it to Shoot a group of alcohol advertisements, which was very satisfactory to users. Generally speaking, this lens has high resolution and good color reproduction. This is a good shot.
Later, this shot was transferred to one of my teachers. He happened to have a Ricoh camera in his hand. After watching my film, he stared at it and insisted on taking it away, so he had to give up love.
With this head, I have a different view of Ricoh's lens. I heard that Ricoh also has a 28- 100/4 lens, so I took a look around. I once saw one in Beijing, the color was very good, and there was a box, but the asking price was 1700 yuan. I feel that the price is high and I missed it.
The second time I met him was in a consignment shop on Yan 'an Road in Shanghai. He looks good, only marked 1200 yuan. When I got it, I found it was slightly mildewed, so I had to give it up.
1999 I went to the south and found a Ricoh 70- 150/4 constant lens in a second-hand shop in Guangzhou. The appearance is ok, and the price is not high, just 500 yuan. I bought it without looking carefully.
But when I came back, I found that this head was dying and had many mildew spots. When I saw it, it was almost useless, so I locked it in the cupboard and forgot. I didn't know until later that it had been sleeping for a year. You'd better find someone to clean it, otherwise it's a pity.
Finally, I took it to Shenyang northbound and asked Master Wang to clean it, but there were still traces. I took it to a lovely photo studio, asked Miss Cheng to shoot and asked my daughter to be a model. The film was overjoyed when it came out, with high resolution and quite good color.
Teacher Cheng insisted on staying. At that time, she was taking portraits with Nikon FM2 70-2 10 (Longteng), and suddenly she changed to Zhenshanneng Ricoh 70- 150/4.
She said it was easy to use and light in weight. Nikon FM2 70-2 10 Teng faucet is too heavy. Holding for a long time hurts my arm, and girls don't like it.
Just then, a second-hand camera shop received another Ricoh 28- 100/4, which was also delivered to the door. It's also ideal after the filming.
So all the equipment of sy9 16 studio 135 was changed. In addition to the above equipment, 38-80 Pentax automatic Z- 10 cameras and a Dzenit 58/2pk camera were added, so the bulky Nikon was completely abandoned.
Through these three lenses, I changed Ricoh, and Ricoh got a good start, especially the "professional head" of early production. I mentioned that 28- 100/4, 70- 150/4, 70-2 10/3.9. What they have in common is the constant aperture, all-metal manufacturing, excellent workmanship and good hand feel, and its imaging level is absolutely reasonable among zoom heads of the same grade, but for some reason, Ricoh's later head is no longer "excellent" (Ricoh also produced a 28-1/Kloc-0, which is particularly bad). It greatly affected Ricoh's reputation and gave people a quasi-second-rate impression.
In the second-hand market around 2000, more than 90% of the prices were about: 28- 100/4, and the price was about 1400 yuan; 70- 150/4, the price is about 1 100 yuan; 70-2 10/3.9, and the price is around 1200 yuan.
Need to remind film friends that several heads are early products, even if they have a history of more than 20 years. There are not many domestic original factory purchases. Although it is brought in through foreign channels, it must be carefully selected, especially moldy. This cannot be ignored.
Finally, I want to say: this article was written more than 20 years ago. At that time, due to the lack of wealth, many photographers could only choose cheap equipment and get what they paid for. They are not only afraid of high-quality photographic equipment in Germany, but also can only look at advanced equipment such as Nikon and Canon in Japan from a distance, but they can't start. Therefore, some middle and low-grade camera lenses and Russian cameras have become the objects of choice for many people.
But now it seems that it has no practical significance. With the strength of the country and the prosperity of the people, we have more choices and calmness when choosing high-end products such as cameras. How many Japanese high-end cameras have entered the China market?
Looking back, many articles I wrote in those years belong to the times and feelings, and there is not much significance for reuse or collection.
This article is a trace of time.
