I think of Shanghai Tesla Super Factory, which is the third super factory of Tesla and the only super factory that Tesla is currently putting into production outside the United States. P7 is the flagship model of Tucki, and Tucki is the leader of new cars in China. This wave of "collision" between Chinese and American new cars should be very interesting.
So, I decided to drive the P7 to Shanghai Tesla Super Factory to see what would happen.

Recently, there have been frequent rainstorms along the Yangtze River, and the weather in Shanghai is fine. But because facing the sea, the water on the road is not very deep. However, driving on the complicated elevated road in Shanghai still feels horrible and the sight is extremely poor. Only double flashing warning can be turned on. After all, this is a new car and can't afford it.
Although it was raining cats and dogs outside, the inside of P7 was horribly quiet between the opening and closing of the window. This sentence is a bit exaggerated, but it is really quiet, which shows that Tucki has made great efforts in the sound insulation of P7.
But in fact, P7 didn't use double-decker sound insulation glass, it also used frame glass ... Interesting, maybe it was forced by Dana stereo in the car, so Tucki strengthened the sound insulation of the whole car?
When testing other brands of smart electric vehicles before, they had the function of driving in the rain, which impressed me deeply, that is, they were particularly easy to use and had good stability, which could greatly reduce the pressure, indicating that water mist did not affect the identification of sensors and the work of the system.
So I want to take this opportunity to try Tucki P7' s assisted driving, but I dialed my right arm several times, but it didn't respond, and there was no hint on the dashboard (I later learned from the Tucki Marketing Department that the assisted driving of the test drive was opened in June+10, 5438). Therefore, it's a pity that we still haven't experienced P7' s assisted driving in this test drive.
From Minhang, where I live, to Lingang, Pudong, where Tesla Super Factory is located, the distance is still quite far. Navigation shows more than 70 kilometers, including outer ring expressway, Shenjiahu expressway and Hulu expressway. Therefore, the test drive road conditions are mostly high-speed, and it is conceivable that the endurance discount will not be very high.
Because this trip goes deep into the hinterland of Pudong, I can witness some interesting things.
For example, when I met several military off-road vehicles on the Shanghai-Shandong Expressway, I felt that I had witnessed a wave of "dispatching troops" when I thought of the recent exercises in the East China Sea.
Moreover, compared with other places in Shanghai, the hinterland of Pudong finally has an idyllic flavor. The fruit stalls on the roadside remind me of Vietnam I have been to before, so are the faces of seaside towns similar?
Although the overall road conditions near the port in Tesla are not very good, there is a lot of traffic. Perhaps it is the arrival of Tesla that makes this land no longer quiet ... Near the Tesla Super Factory, a four-way road is under construction. Yes, a steady stream of Tesla will be sent from here to the whole country.
2. Punch Tesla Super Factory
It was nearly noon after arriving at Tesla Super Factory, so the first thing to do was to find food. Because the factory is too remote, there are few restaurants nearby, and the only meal is on the construction site.
With the construction of Tesla Super Factory, there are also large-scale construction sites here. In addition to the accommodation area, there is also a food street and a parking lot. As far as the automobile factory site I have been to as a reporter is concerned, it is the largest.
A data can also illustrate this point. I asked several people in the food court, and they all said that there are thousands of construction workers here, which is very huge.
For this reason, I took a 26-second time-lapse photography, and everyone felt the tide of building factories. So there is no architectural myth, but there are more people working in China.
It is said to be a food street, but it doesn't eat much. Just a few roadside shops, such as noodles and jiaozi, are all open-air. There is no fast food restaurant and no cooking hall, and the sanitary conditions on the street are very poor. This temporary street seems to have no administration.
I sat down in a slightly cleaner shop and ordered a bowl of noodle soup. The amount is sufficient, as long as 10 yuan, I asked the boss if he was from the north. She said no, and the amount was just for everyone to eat, which actually moved me a little.
After dinner, I drove around the Tesla Super Factory in P7, and found that there were four doors, of which 1 was closed at present, and the other three doors were open, but they were all guarded by security guards.
The most striking symbol of TESLA Super Factory in the United States is undoubtedly the five huge letters Tesla at the top. At present, at the top of the Shanghai factory, these English letters can't be found on the side, and, according to the security guard, it has become a punching resort.

Step 3 interview
I walked around the factory, parked P7 next to a door, and then the security guard came directly to ask about the situation. After I said to stop for a while, he said nothing but, "This car looks good." I told him it was a Tucki P7- Tesla model? One of the competitors, and then he smiled.
When introducing P7 to this security guard, a model? 3 Stop in the door. Two debugging engineers in the front seat are staring at P7, and their hands are gesticulating. I don't know what attracted them. Let them stop.
Because of the strict security, I didn't stay long, and then I went to another gate. Here, I parked my car on the side of the road not far from the factory gate. No security guards came to ask, but there were three taxis, two of which were Didi, both BYD Qin Pro? German mark.
According to the communication, the two BYD new energy owners are all nearby people waiting for customers here. Tesla's pull on this economy is really obvious. Therefore, I invited them to experience Tucki P7 statically. Facing the design of P7 like a sports car, they readily agreed.
Because they are old drivers of new energy, I didn't introduce them too much. They saw it. I'll answer questions later. Their eyes are really sharp, but after a while, from the outside to the inside, they accurately tell the pros and cons of P7.
Such as appearance, sports car modeling, Michelin tires, panoramic skylights and borderless windows. They said that as a domestic car, the appearance of the P7 is impressive.
As for the interior, they said that P7' s interior has a certain sense of luxury in both workmanship and configuration, such as leather seats, integrated display screen and eye-catching Dana stereo.
A chubby big brother admired P7, but at the same time, he found a problem: the internal lateral space of P7 was too small, whether in the front row or the back row. He said that the front row is more suitable for thin people, especially women.
Later, they asked what the endurance was. I said the maximum is 706 kilometers and the minimum is 562 kilometers. I thought they would say that the endurance was ok, but they said that the endurance was a bit too much, as long as 400 kilometers was enough.
Speaking of running Didi, they shook their heads again, saying that the interior of P7 was too luxurious and more suitable for private use. It would be a pity if it was used to run Didi ... this sentence is a bit cruel.
I have never heard of a similar topic in the media circle, but this possibility is real. If we can't open the C-end market, in order to recover the development cost, the B-end market will be a feasible way for P7.
However, the long battery life and luxurious products directly lock P7 in the C-end market, which is not a good thing for P7. If the B-end market is limited and the C-end market cannot be sold, it will be too risky for Tucki to spend 3 billion yuan to develop P7.
Of course, at present, the P7 is selling well in the C-end market. In the first month, it delivered more than 1000 vehicles, and its stock reached 1723 vehicles.
Finally, I asked them, the same is more than 200 thousand, in Tesla models? 3 and Tucki P7, who will they choose? Brother Pang said that no matter what brand, he would definitely choose Tucki P7. The battery life is too long and the interior is luxurious enough, but if he considers the brand, he will reconsider.
This fat brother's words should not be a case, but it is true among traditional consumers.
But if it is subdivided into smart electric vehicle users, the answer to this question may not be like this. If it is subdivided into smart electric vehicles, its chassis is too small.
Obviously, Tucki needs to further tap the potential users of P7.
4. Fatigue test
The purpose of this test drive is mainly to punch the P7 card for Tesla Super Factory, followed by the endurance discount test for the return trip. Look directly at the chart data below:
Yes, it is not difficult to find that the discount rate for the return trip is lower than that for the return trip.
I thought about the reason. First of all, the car condition is the same except for the different driving modes, and the journey is still a more energy-saving ECO mode.
In addition to the road conditions, the trip is mainly on the expressway, with heavy rain, and the return trip is on the elevated road, and the rain has stopped. The average speed of the former is higher. I have done a speed test (speed is confidential), which is bound to cost more electricity, so the difference should be caused by road conditions and driving methods.
Generally speaking, the discount on endurance on the way is lower than I expected, and the return trip is higher. After all, this is a four-wheel drive high-performance version, which should be said to be quite good under comprehensive road conditions such as cities and elevated roads.
In fact, when it comes to endurance anxiety, the most important premise is whether the charging infrastructure is guaranteed. If so, high endurance is a false proposition, perhaps more than 400 kilometers is enough.
For example, a model with high network charges? The battery life is only over 400 kilometers, and the sales volume is over 10,000, which can explain something. Like Tesla, Tucki has its own overcharge network. Although the number is not as much as that of Tesla, it is enough to meet the needs of consumers in cities such as Beijing, Guangzhou and Shenzhen.
From the point of view of endurance, its cruising range of 562-706 kilometers is comparable to that of fuel vehicles, which lays the most solid guarantee for it to get out of the smart electric car circle and open the traditional car circle.
Therefore, for Tucki P7, there is no endurance anxiety.
So, how many people are willing to pay for an electric car without endurance anxiety?
