Use a digital camera, set the white balance to daylight, and shoot with tungsten lamp. What color is the shot image?

Partial Ba Huang

The lower the color temperature, the more red radiation, the more light tends to the red end of the chromatogram, and the warmer the color.

The higher the color temperature, the more blue radiation, the more light tends to the blue end of the color spectrum, and the colder the color.

The color temperature of the photos taken by the camera is about the average of the set color temperature of the camera white balance and the actual color temperature of the ambient light.

The white balance of the camera is compensated according to the typical color temperature values of various light environments, and the compensation result is that the final color temperature is 5500K of the typical sunlight color temperature.

When the light color temperature is low, the camera color temperature will increase, and when the light color temperature is high, the camera color temperature will decrease, and finally the average is almost 5500 K.

The color temperature of tungsten lamp is about 2800K, and the white balance color temperature of sunlight is generally 5500K, so the color temperature of photos is about (2800+5500) ÷ 2 = 4 150 K.

The color temperature value of 4 150K is yellow.
