People here attach great importance to China New Year. It's really exciting to buy new year's goods, prepare for the New Year's Eve, and strive for the early New Year ... happy and busy.

Purchase the new year's goods in advance. As early as 10 days ago, every household began to get busy, baking pancakes, steaming steamed bread, making steamed bread, making tofu ... When making tofu, I followed my grandmother step by step and tried to help my grandfather send grass to the kitchen. Of course, my purpose is to drink a bowl of soybean milk early. That soybean milk is very fresh and fragrant. It's not enough to rely on yourself. Most things have to be bought in the market. Everyone calls this kind of activity "the fair". Here, it meets every five days, and the opportunity to visit the Spring Festival is probably the first two days. Therefore, during the assembly, the streets are often crowded. They walked down the street in groups of three and five, all smiling, buying this and choosing that. They can buy many kinds, such as chicken, fish, beef, mutton, dog meat, black berries, shrimp skin and various seasonal vegetables. As for children, they should not only eat, but also take their parents or grandparents to buy fireworks. What a lively scene! On New Year's Eve, every household is the busiest. Early in the morning, everyone is busy cooking. Today, every family will burn paper for their ancestors to commemorate them. According to local customs, red couplets or blessings should be posted on doors and windows around 10 (if an elder died in the last two years, you can't post red, you can only post blue). Interestingly, the word "Fu" should be posted backwards, meaning "Fu is here". After putting up Spring Festival couplets, most people don't go to the cemetery to burn paper. They just find a place at the head of the village, burn it in the direction of the ancestral grave and kowtow. This way is called "watching burning", while burning, saying something in memory of their ancestors. Under normal circumstances, men burn paper and women are not allowed to go. Burn the paper and go home for dinner. This meal is the most abundant, no matter how many people, a table must be filled. I ate a lot at noon that day and was very happy! In the evening, there is another custom in our hometown-keeping the age. Birthday is not easy. I always doze off. So, grandpa told me some legends about "Chinese New Year". On New Year's morning, we eat jiaozi and glutinous rice balls, which shows that the Year of the Tiger is round and smooth.
