Emily: (whispering in the theater) I like to look for things that no one notices. I hate the way drivers never look at the road in old movies.

Emily: (whispering in the cinema) I like to look for things that nobody cares about. I hate those people in old movies who never look at the road while driving.

Angels love beautiful Amelie (200 1) behind the scenes/tidbits.

Comment in a word:

She will change your life.

Behind the scenes production:

This film is a fairy tale of modern Cinderella. Just like the musical "Kiki" or "Dancing among Flowers", Paris under the lens is a more beautiful paradise than postcards. Unique charm, rich imagination and fantastic humor are its specialties, which turn the girl's throbbing and longing into charming pictures.

Trivia: Emily's character was originally designed for emily watson. She really wanted to play this role, but she turned it down because she didn't speak French, and she had agreed to play Gosford Park (200 1).

Director's label: (Jean-Pierre Genet) (Actor) Dominique Pinon.

When shooting on location, Jean-Pierre Genet and his team will clean up the whole site at any time, leaving no debris, dirt or rubbish. This will make the film more in line with his fantasy style. But in the process of shooting in a large railway station, this work began to become extremely arduous.

The photos in the photo booth are from a real photo album, provided by a friend of the director Jean-Pierre Genet. His name appeared on the credits, and it was Michelle Folco.

Director's label: (Jean-Pierre Genet) (Orphan) Emily's mother died. Orphaning should mean losing parents. Emily's father is still alive in the film, so she can't be regarded as an orphan. However, Jean-Pierre Genet often describes children as orphans and suffers from the loss of one or both parents.

Jean-Pierre Genet began to collect stories and memories from 1974.

The artwork in Emily's room (a dog with a tie and a white bird) and her imaginary crocodile friend were created by the painter Michel Sava.

Emily saw two movies when she was in the cinema. When she looks back at the face behind her, we can see two scenes in Jules and Jim (1962). When she commented on those people who drive without looking at the road, it was an older movie, Father's Little Bonus (195 1).

The main colors of the film (green, blue and red) are inspired by the oil paintings of Brazilian painter Juarez machado.

Wearable lens:

Display error: passers-by in the park looked at the camera and the staff. A little girl even waved to the camera.

Consistency: When Dominic talks to Emily in a bar, the amount of alcohol in her glass.

Consistency: When Nino was in the restaurant and Emily was writing on the cup, the words "D" and "du" were changed several times.

Fact error: Nino was at school when he was a child, and the blackboard showed "vendredi 7 avril 1980". July 7th 1980 is Monday, not Friday.

Visible staff or equipment: While Emily is looking at the camera in the park, she can see the camera and a leg of the staff in Emily's sunglasses.

Coherence: From the beginning to the end of the park scene, the angle of the sun changes obviously.

Consistency: When Nino started kissing Emily (just after she kissed him three times), his head was tilted to the right. In the next photo, his head is tilted to the left.

Consistency: Just after Nino rang her doorbell, the flour on Emily's sleeve disappeared.

Continuity: After Emily helped the blind man to the train station below, we saw him smearing cheese on a pile of spaghetti. When we came back, we saw spaghetti lying flat in the bowl and the cheese grinder had turned 90 degrees.
